Doting Wife! BULLSHIT.... I started watching this Drama because i saw this review of yours. Your reviews about other few dramas were good. But for this drama it was completely misleading!
She isn't a doting wife but a Shameless and Cheating Wife. She repetedly shows her affection to ex-boyfriend even in front of her husband. She shamelessly becomes friends with Helan Prince who had once kidnapped her and openly admitted to having sexual desires towards her. She even dances intimately with him while she had already refused to dance for her husband. And you call her Doting wife.
I could not take this shit. So i stopped watching after 48th ep.
Finally i gathered courage to watch last episode to see how it ends but it again spoiled my mood. From the very beginning when Awu married the General, the least thing i wanted was her ex-boyfriend(Third Prince) taking the throne. She was cheating her husband with him and Helen Prince. He collaborated with Helen Prince to Kill her husband and take her back to satisfy his romantic desires. And WTF! he ends up becoming an Emperor. Based on the title 'Rebel Princess' i thought this drama would be about a strong FL who rebels her evil and scheming relatives to bring peace for the people of her kingdom and would become emperor towards the end of the drama. But she is portrayed as a Cheating Wife! Feel so disgusted! Total Wastage.......
