I saw the review of AvenueX and she explained the ending there. Both Han Shuo and Qian Qian got stuck inside the script. As you can see han shuo had his accident before her fever . So you can say that he was born as han shuo inside the script and lived his whole lifetime there and that's why he forgot everything from the original world. This also explains why his actions were different and why he never fell in love with the 2fl even though it was in his character design .

The things that i like about -

1. They have made this version pretty fast pacing and have cut most of the dragging part .

2. I really liked rowoon's cameo and the little part he was on .

3.The friend being the killer caught me by surprise. I guess him being the killer made it more creepy but it also comes in the thing that i don't like .

4. The cinematography was great .
5. The actors did a fantastic job and didn't disappoint.

6. The ending was good . In the original version you have to go to YouTube to see the extended version.

Now the things i didn't like-
1. Except that one song the ost of the drama was nothing special. The original one had a way better ost which has became one of my all the fav ost.

2. Every korean drama flims there school scene in the same particular"school " and I'm just bored of it. And most of the time the past and present setting/ areas / location looks the same , it doesn't feel like it's 1998 .

3. I didn't really liked that the friend was the killer , it didn't made a lot of sense. Like how was he able to pretend for such a long time and not get the urge to kill the FL since she looks the same as the 2fl.

4. I couldn't feel the chemistry between the ml and fl . They were great at acting but the chemistry was lacking .

5. They didn't show the real koo yeon jun just like the original version. He was just made a tool for the main leads to meet.

6. The intro was disappointing. Cause in the
Taiwanese version there were some symbolism which i liked a lot.

As a person who has watched both the original and the korean version. I think they have both done a fantastic job in different ways . But I'm still a little partial about the original one cause that one just made me feel things that i usually don't feel .
I'm gonna write the things i like and don't like about the korean version in the spoilers

I think that is the only loophole in both the Taiwanese and the korean version cause they don't really show the real koo yeon jun . That's why in the Taiwanese movie version they show more about him cause a lot of people raised this question

In the korean version there is a lot of past to present transition, thats why i think a lot of people get confused. 1. in the Taiwanese version koo yeon jun doesn't not have a sister , he is an only child .
2 .Rowoon's character does not exist . So in the original version he likes a guy but he is bullyed cause back then people usually didn't accept gay people easily, so he tries to kill himself and then ml comes.
3. The killer was not the friend but was the fl's psychiatrist , who she told all about the past thinking that they were dreams.
4. In the Taiwanese version the ending was not satisfactory, so they made a extended version were they meet again in the future like the korean version and if you want to watch that it's on YouTube. And in the korean version the age gap is less i think.

And both in the Taiwanese and the korean version, the real koo yeon jun is not shown and most people ask was his only purpose to die . That part is shown in the movie version
