Everything made sense when you realize you’re going to die with poison inside your body very soon. Just hoping…
Even if I were to give the ML a pass and accept that he turned her away “for her own good”, that still doesn’t explain why DW so easily believed him when he took the blame for hitting her with the arrow. She should know that he would never harm her. One minute they’re making commitments to each other and the next they have the most superficial of conversations. It just doesn’t make sense to me. But it is what it is and we accept the storyline.
And yes, I hope both come to their senses soon and she figures out his “noble sacrifice.”
Just finished watching episodes 18-20, and asking myself if the ML and FL took a couple of stupid pills because their actions made zero sense. My heart is desperately hoping that the show is playing us and it’s all an act in order to bring down the bad guys by infiltrating from within..? That two episodes from now, we’re going to see them secretly meeting to discuss strategy.
The “big misunderstanding” and complete 180 in their feelings happened so suddenly and isn’t in keeping with their personalities thus far. They’re both very loyal to their loved ones so i can’t understand how they could leave each other so easily. Especially DW who up to now has been so clever, steadfast and tenacious. After everything they’d been through together, I thought that their trust was strong enough to at least merit an honest conversation if misunderstandings arise.
BUT, this is c-drama land and writers are notorious for making their characters act in illogical and contrary ways. I just wish these writers had respected their characters as much as we do and stop using these tired tropes. Rant completed.
I started watching this by myself when it debuted, but now my whole family is watching it too. This, from people who constantly tease me about my love of c-dramas. Lol
There's a lot of remake that's gonna happen...What kdrama remake do you think would matched for Zhao Lusi
A Business Proposal
I know she’s branching out and focusing on more serious dramas, but I think she’d be brilliant as the quirky yet lovable female lead. With her comedic timing, this role suits her perfectly.
