I ff fast this drama in that time when it was in air, but wasnt so engaged. Now watching TPOB and loving LY singing…
In TPOB, we get the classic setup with the tragic hero for the ML and the noble princess for the FL—pretty much the dream team of archetypes. 🏰 But in A Journey to Love, things get way more complicated. We have not one, but two tragic heroes as the main couple! 😱
Is it just me: I find Zichuan Can Xing to be really creepy. He tells everyone "you're my most trusted....", while…
Yes, it’s called hereditary succession, where the lead stays within the family to keep power in the same bloodline. It’s not always about who’s the best right now but about preserving the legacy. Though, I get why it’s frustrating —especially when the heir isn’t exactly cut out for the job! 🤔
Everyone else brought their tiny swords to the banquet... but of course, Di Lin rolls in with the grand one 😂 So glad to see him again though! #DiLinTheRealMVP 😎
It's interesting how the need for control can make us so averse to uncertainty, but maybe it’s the uncertainty that makes us crave that control in the first place? Anyway, fingers crossed for a satisfying ending this time! 🤗
I really wish that both DL and SYL also had more time on screen as they are technically lead characters and not…
Totally agree, DL and SYL are definitely some of the more interesting characters, while the ML can be a bit of an embarrassment at times. I’m probably going to switch over to Feud 😬
Q for everyone; do you think ZX did the right thing by infiltrating the Bei camp and assassinating LH for betrayal…
It seems that ZX solves all his problems through killing and fighting and his "act first, think later" approach often leads to unintended consequences :D
That's an interesting point! What was it about his character in the first 24 episodes that made you feel he was…
I actually felt Wei Shao’s character was consistent with his backstory—he wasn’t meant to be outwardly scary but conflicted and burdened by his past. The FL’s strength was key in helping him confront his pain and start healing. I haven’t read the novel, so I can’t compare, but the drama's portrayal worked for me.
