Yes, there needed to be more love scenes between the King and Hong Rim. They had opportunities to show it, and we could see a difference in how he acted while making love to the king before and after has had made love to the queen. At least one other scene would have been nice.

I'm with you. I feel like he said it out of hate. He wanted to hurt the king and he knew saying that he never loved him would hurt him. So I can understand the character saying what he did through that perspective. I mean, they were killing each other in that moment. I don't expect them to be kind and considerate nor honest about their feelings when everything is clouded by hate. I also don't believe he really loved the queen and never loved the king. He spent so much time with the king being more than a lover, but a friend. They rode together, painted, played music, and knew each other and were close since they were children. He only had a physical relationship with the queen. Never spent any real time with her besides having sex. He didn't know anything about her. So I think it was just lust that compelled them. The queen feeling desired for likely the first time in her life and the Hong Rim experiencing this new kind of attraction since she was the first and only woman he's ever been with.

What Taiwan does is not a step forward for China. They are two separate countries. Gay marriage is legal in Taiwan, but you can't even show two men kissing on tv in China.

Correct. I would be watching DBK for Fridays, but I was getting bored with it by episode 3. So I'm just going to binge watch it later once the show finishes airing. But I'm up for any other recommendations to fill my Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and Sundays. I'd be giddy as a lamb if I could have some new BL episodes to watch every morning/afternoon.

I've seen some explicit stuff from the Filipinos though. It's Western tv, Queer as Folk (US) kind of explicit. But with that, there was less romance, so I don't know if you'd call it BL and not just gay dramas. :( So I'm still looking ones that can do both well.

Oh, and I forgot about some of the Mew What the Duck scenes with Art.

And a person on here was talking about, "TharnType is too steamy to be a recommendation for tame, sweet MODC!" Ha! In their face! What they got to say now? lol Both shows are giving me life, though. I wish I had a good BL drama to look forward to every day of the week instead of just Mondays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. I'm going to miss this. For the first time, I wish History would give second seasons for some of their couples.

I've seen the show already on Viki, I just wanted a copy to save on my computer with subtitles so I could rewatch the show later or in the future offline, and won't have to depend on a streaming site to see it again. But don't worry about it if it'll be too much trouble for you.

Well, I watch the official links first, but I go to Youtube to download the series to save and keep on my flashdrive. It's easier to download stuff off youtube and I want to be able to rewatch this series anytime I want later and take it with me anywhere.

I was getting those vibes from him. It sounds like he still wants a little boy and not a man. Yikes!

Hopefully we'll get a second season for next year! LBC is getting one.

I'm talking about two men kissing. They wouldn't show it, but they'll show a woman and a man kissing and rate it G. For example, growing up, they edited out the scene in Remember the Titans when a boy kissed another boy. All they did was kiss and it was removed. Though the movie is just rated PG, they made sure to cut out the kissing between the two boys whenever they aired it on channels like Disney Channel. In Andi Mack, they allowed a boy to come out as gay (which even that sparked some outrage), but they refused to ever show him even get into relationship with another boy. At the end, him and his crush just touch hands (and they waited til the very last episode to show that). But the girls were allowed to have boyfriends and kiss them and everything. There is very much a bias in America regarding what they will allow for straight couples vs what they will allow for gay ones. Though, I think there's been improvement in recent years. And I'm sure other countries have their limits on what they consider socially acceptable and will rate the show accordingly.

Nothing bad happens. This was a fluffy episode(s)- especially episode 10. Just a lot of sweet moments and romance. Yu Xi Gu smiles the most he's ever smiled in the whole show.

Different countries/cultures, different standards? In America, it'd be rated 13+ just for having an openly gay relationship in it.
