My god what an amazing fellow! I am re-watching The Long Ballad because I missed watching his character development so much, what a performance he gave us with Hao Du!! I am just so happy for his growing success and I hope he can stay loving what he does for as long as he wishes to continue!! All the best from Canada!! Be healthy and peaceful of heart <3
Totally love your description of the Emperor! I can hardly keep it together during his scenes because of the contrast between how he appears and his astonishingly efficient puppeteering. I am only about half way through the series and never want it to end. I feel the same about this show as I did Nirvana In Fire...still haven't recovered from that one.
I agree and I compare other historicals to this and so far only Joy of LIfe comes close.
I am caught between wanting to watch it right away(I've seen it listed as highly recommended) or hold off for a bit and savour the anticipation! Decisions, decisions ;)
