I was half joking that they would throw an amnesia plot in the last episode, not expecting it to come true. They literally threw every single cliche in this show, expect the childhood connection one. So disappointing.
The writers could have spent the last episode on Ji Hyeok bringing down his sister and Ha Yeongâs brother, and helping his mom become the CEO, and lots of cute scenes with Da Rim. Plus some more of the secondary couple, but nope we got filler amnesia plot line. I expected better! At least the shareholder meeting scene in the beginning was really good, then it went downhill from there.
I am really loving this show so far. The first two episodes were really good, and itâs the perfect blend of humor, mystery, melo and (hopefully) romance. It seems like all the people surrounding Ra Ik failed him. He was clearly struggling with anxiety and a panic disorder, and nobody was helping him. The obsessed fans and bullying was making my blood boil.
Intrigued who is the real killer, because his friend/co band member seemed like such a sweet guy. Guessing itâs the CEO since he always plays sus characters (maybe heâs embezzling or human trafficking and the guy found out). Iâm also glad that they showed us early the usual childhood connection, but interesting that the prosecutor was also at their school.
The actors are also nailing their roles so far. Both leads are must watches for me, and have not disappointed so far. Canât wait until next week!
Noble idiocy reared its ugly head repeatedly today. Da rim, you promised to stay by your man through everything and just ran away to âsave himâ when she should have told him what the awful sister told her so they can fight together. Then we got saddled with unnecessary farm scenes. Give me a million Ha Yeong and Jun scenes over this nonsense- HY crying over his picture made me teary eyed, and I like how the mom had come around. Definitely the highlight of this episode.
I was hoping awful sister and brother would be brought down this episode, but everything is likely to be rushed tomorrow.
These cases continue to be so interesting and full of twists. Iâm glad this show is highlighting the marginalized and underrepresented population, because itâs relevant in every society.
Hope the MLâs secret is out next week and the crew work together to figure out why he was targeted. I still donât get what the CEOâs endgame is.
well, revenge will get place in the next episode... why should the backstory last three minutes?
10 minutes max is sufficient to show why she had to leave the group-it didnât need 20 minutes when most of it was her trying to be an idol. Bunch of worthless filler.
On episode three and both leads are getting on my nerves and being ridiculously incompetent. The FL is dumb to think that she should be seeing patients when sheâs in that mental state and after a surgery, and keeps fainting every 10 seconds. Donât get me started in red flag ML. The other characters are good so will stick it out for now.
Still love this show, but todayâs backstory was unnecessarily too long. They could have condensed it to 5-10 minutes, and then we would have gotten more of the revenge scenes.
The manager outfit including wig was cracking me up. I couldnât even concentrate on anything else.
Was I the only one screaming for them to burn the secret pact so it doesnât exist anymore? Then the LM has nothing to hold over the King and they can just arrest him for treason.
Je wonâs reunion with his mother made me cry. I hope he gets his happy ending tomorrow.
Of course we end the show damsel in distressing the FL. They could have gone a different route.
Episode 12 - WTF was that bedroom scene, way too much slow mo and combining two of my least favourite things,…
Yeah it was odd, considering their prior bed scene in episode 2 was so hot. Maybe this was to show the viewers that the first time was lust, and this time it was true love? She did look like she was going to vomit on him when they were laying down so not sure what the director was thinking with that awkward position.
100%. Wouldn't surprise me if he was trying to 'devour' natural bebe behind her back
100% he is, and I canât wait until sheâs responsible for bringing down the company and thrown onto the streets alone and broke, right along with her miserable father.
