I knew this episode was too good to be true. We got actual self reflection and remorse from the FL for half an episode about her lie, and then she came clean to her team. That was such a wonderful and warm scene! Then all the couple cuteness (along with the much needed apology from her for causing him so much emotional distress because of the lie), The mom scene was a bonus, with Ji Hyeok’s mom being disappointed that Da Rim’s mom didn’t want their kids to date (usually it’s the opposite reaction we see).
Everything was going well and the usual tropes were being avoided, until that ridiculous ending. I hope the preview is rage baiting like yesterday’s preview was. You promised to be by his side Da rim! Fight alongside with your guy and bring down that awful sister.
I hope that guy gives her the clap. She knows Hyeok doesn't really want to work for that company and is pretty…
I also don’t understand why she’s not partnering with her half brother, since it’s obvious he doesn’t want the company. She’s just petty and dumb at this point.
Thank you for the fan servicing, writers! That happy towel dancing scene made all this angst worth it. Same with their cutesy scenes. Couldn’t stop smiling at all of it. It’s been nice to not have any filler episodes the past two weeks.
I want to fast forward every scene with the creepy brother and conniving sister. Hope they both get thrown in jail soon.
FL is growing on me, but she’s still a little annoying. I do love her sister! Refreshing that it’s not the usual corrupt sibling/vying to be head of the company nonsense we usually get fed.
Nam Gi Ae is so busy this year- she’s currently in three ongoing dramas right now! I really like her range with the different mom characters she is playing, and of course the other mother is everyone’s favorite ahjumma.
I wish more people watched this drama. I really enjoyed it, and thought the struggles the leads had were realistic. Really enjoyed the last two episodes.
Ji Hyeok's hypocrisy in ep 38 being like " Seong Jae, don't do to my sister Su Bin what I did to all my ex…
I don’t think it’s that, but more that he knows how Seong Jae’s family is and they will make her life hell like they did his ex wife. And he was right with that biatch already threatening Su bin. Doesn’t it actually work in her favor if he marries Su bin then dad can disown him, so Woo Jin can lead the company? She’s so dumb.
They were never going to win that case, not under those circumstances. it’s just like how people here are divided…
You’re right. This was the best scenario for everyone involved, and to the pro bono crew because their client gets taken care of in the end, so they were okay with the outcome.
To fight to abort a poor disabled child is honestly high key triggering and not really a comedy. I get if people…
They are a pro bono team who take cases for marginalized civilians who can’t afford for anyone to fight for them. I don’t think those cases are “lighthearted” so don’t know what you were expecting. Even the judge was uncomfortable thinking that this kid shouldn’t have been born.
Such a great show. I love how the cases aren’t the normal ones we see in dramas, and really touch on overlooked social issues in SK. It may be uncomfortable for some to watch, but it seems realistic. The pro bono team are also fun to watch and enjoying their chemistry.

And I’m tired of seeing that awful woman pop up constantly on my screen. Hopefully her husband finds out about her lies and kicks her to the curb.
This show continues to be so entertaining. I would watch it every single week if I could, and if the budget allowed it.
