Why do Seo Hyeon’s parents treat her like a child? She’s a grown woman who has liked the same guy for decades, yet they are mad at him for not liking her back? Is that his fault? And screw the mom for picking her stepdaughter over her own daughter, wondering why Mu Jin picked someone who was beneath her perfect stepdaughter. Gyu Rim didn’t go to college because she had to support her family because you left them to fend for themselves with the awful father. I just can’t with these adults who act like dumb kids, while the one kid on the show is the only mature person on this show (along with the twins).
And don’t get me started on a stupid ED visit because the dumb adult-child ate spicy food. Then we have the cosmetic surgeon who is another adult-child constantly tantruming to get her own way. At least karma is finally catching up to her awful behavior. I just can’t with this show.
Show was a decent watch, but that was the most underwhelming finale I’ve seen in a while. Don’t get why they had to break up and couldn’t do long distance, even if she tried to explain her reasoning. They weren’t going to work together and he wasn’t going to move to Canada, so what was the problem? It’s like the writers don’t even try anymore. Blah
Maybe I’m trying to sugarcoat it a bit too much because I really like the romance in this drama, but I have…
Completely agree with you that out of all the forced break ups, this one seems the most realistic because of Yeo ri’s fear of hurting someone she loves, but I thought they’d keep supporting each other until the end. I also don’t want to see poor Gang Uk crying, because he’s been such a ray of sunshine in this relationship.
Yu Geon’s father storyline has made me into a blubbering mess. Their scenes were so sad, but the whole town watching the movie together was beautiful. Then they ruined it with the stupid breakup trope. Why do they have to break up again? Why can’t they do a long distance relationship? Makes zero sense.
For those viewers who are leaving the drama. Good-bye. Sorry the show didn't deliver for you (I felt the same…
It’s amazing that they were ranked first and second last week for buzzworthy actors (and the show is ranked second), when they haven’t been promoting their show together as much as other romcom leads have. It’s a shame because they have such great chemistry together.
It is the sad reality. The only K-Dramas I've watched this year with 16 episodes are "Phantom Lawyer"…
The above dramas had the most complete episodes without any fillers, and were interesting until the end without veering from its premise. Same with another great 16 episode drama, Undercover Miss Hong. Go figure.
Bummed this is the second episode in a row we didn’t get a ghost sighting- expecting to see a few roaming around the Singapore market or seeing Miss Han’s father standing next to her while she was talking about the building he loved, but we got nothing. Did the writers forget about the premise of this show? There are already so many power struggle cheobal shows out there so was hoping this would have been different.
Still love the leads and their cute chemistry! Their scenes in Singapore and the continued support Gang Uk has of Yeo Ri was adorable. Made the last scene rough to watch, but it is on par with her fear of hurting the ones she loved because of her curse. Hope the breakup is short lived and we will see a ghost or two next week.
Here comes the noble idiocy break up trope, this is one of the dumbest ones to boot. Losing interest here, good…
I wonder if they are given the first few episodes to read, and those episodes were fantastic so she signed on. Don’t think she knew the writers would write this show off a cliff.
Wouldn’t it have made more sense if they let the two try to kill each other so no one suspects Kingfisher again? I did like the second team and hope we see them again.
As expected, the ghost storyline has taken a backseat to the family chaebol drama, but the leads are still so stinking cute that I’m constantly smiling. I loved how frustrated they both were at being interrupted twice, and Gang uk’s coworkers are so much fun to watch as well. Even though the writers forgot about the ghosts, they still have the romance part. I was hoping that the trip to Singapore led to a ghost sighting or two.
I did notice that when Gang uk got another mountain of paperwork, it panned on a big envelope for a while, so maybe there is one more big ghost case left along with Jin hwan, but he hasn’t showed up in a while. Fingers crossed the CEO drama only lasts until tomorrow!
Is that Lee Hak Joo as the villain? Love him! Really interesting case- can’t wait until tomorrow. The sibling rivalry relationship the two leads have is hilarious!
