Ki Jun punching the reporter was so good and deserved, and him flailing around like the loser he is made my blood boil. The actor always plays the most annoying and rude characters, but does it extremely well. A Jeong should have also gotten her hair pulled for her constant smirking as well. Awful self hating woman.
Ki Jun, the wonderful green flag boyfriend you are. His speech at the police station was great. Despite all the office politics, so glad that these two stayed strong and became one of the best k couples. Love their lack of drama and honest communication. And In Ah never lost her spunk through all of it and continues to be good at her job.Such a refreshing drama! Will be sad to see the last episode tomorrow.
Poor Grand Prince- that past storyline gutted me. The King is just as villainous as the cousin in the current timeline. Him along with Tae Hee are absolute piles of garbage. I am glad that Seo Ri isn’t scared of Tae Hee and her stupid tactics and stuck up for herself. I just wish she was finally gone but we have to deal with her insufferable face for another 6 episodes.
That ending was intense. I really hope that this show averts the usual misunderstanding/secrecy trope and Seo Ri tells Se Gye next week that Mun Do is threatening her. Please do not let me down, writers.
Se Gye’s micro expressions are such a treat. Him smirking when she’s freaking out being stuck on that island, and then the utter embarrassment of those haenyeos talking about them getting it on by themselves was cracking me up. Same with the dreamy- eyed way he was looking at her photo shoot pictures (and can we give a big shout out to how gorgeous Seo Ri looked in that commercial? Absolutely stunning). I also loved how he pretty much told her that pretending she blacked out won’t work on him, and he’s still pursuing her.
Seo Ri pushing him away made sense because of what happened to her in the past, but happy that it was short lived. I was crying from the rooftop scene until the ending- another perfect ending. That music box with the white dog running around the castle was perfection and really got to me. I know the creepy cousin will get in their way along with the stupid cheobal woman, but let me enjoy their cuteness for now.
Imma say it: Dong Ik is a dumbass, insecure little man. BUT... Se Ri is equally as shady and lied multiple times…
Yeah, he believed her in the end but she was lying and putting fake names in her phone, knowing how suspicious her husband gets because of his past trauma. She plays a part in this since she still would be lying if she didn’t know who her daughter is.
That was such a sad scene with his droopy shoulders while he was walking. So glad she finally broke down (I think…
I think if her mom wasn’t sick she wouldn’t have broken up with him. I blame this on the grandparents and parents, who can’t get past their trauma and let those around them be happy.
The episodes air a day behind where I am so still waiting for the most recent one.I was glad to finally see Ju…
That was such a sad scene with his droopy shoulders while he was walking. So glad she finally broke down (I think after she realized how big of a part of her life he was when she was talking about him) because her fake smile was obviously a front.
I'm kind of surprised at the lack of compassion for the SFL here. I've read her story a bit differently. Seems…
Lashing out at someone who has done nothing to you should never be excused, no matter how much trauma you have. Even SML told her that if she was mad at him, he should have taken it out on him instead of her.
ik everyone has different tastes but i genuinely don't understand how people want romance-exclusive dramas. especially…
I like that the external conflicts have strengthened the relationship between the leads. Usually we have misunderstandings and breakups, but it doesn’t seem they will do that with them. I think that is the heart of a good romcom.
In Ah’s conversation with Ah Jeong shows the contrast between a strong woman and a pathetic pity party. In Ah was right in that all this destruction only hurt AJ the most, but then she said she would do it all again. And for what, a relationship that never happened with a guy who didn’t have feelings for you? It was even worse when it showed IA helping AJ in the beginning, but she was resentful because she had designer shoes. These pathetic people are the worst. Ki Jun looking so dejected towards her was so sad, because he was so helpful towards her when she needed a place to stay, and this is what she did in return. I hope her and the half brother get their karma next week.
Throughout all of this, the leads have stayed strong with their honesty and communication. Love them so much, and hope it continues next week when chaos ensues.
