Had to do my usual rewatch of the episode prior in anticipation to the new episode dropping tomorrow, and I loved it even more the second time around. I already knew what was going on so I can focus on all the cute reactions and micro expressions with the leads. Gang uk has the funniest expressions on his face, especially with his coworkers and his grandmother. Yeo ri’s messy hair on the couch after rolling around from his confession was so adorable, and the grandmothers one upping themselves while the leads kept trying to intervene was so much fun. I also couldn’t stop giggling at the park scene since I knew what would happen, and the ending still made me cry because the OST coupled with their honesty and confessions was perfect.
It’s small scenes like these that really elevates this drama from others that are airing, despite the villains lurking and trying to mess up their happiness. I hope the last four episodes are just as good!
So tired of Tae Seong’s mother treating Bo Na like dirt, acting like they are some important chaebol family. What has she ever done to them except treat them with kindness (and secretly owning the building their shop is in). Bo na needs to stick up for herself (that death glare she shot at her MIL was pretty awesome). That family fight was pretty hilarious. Poor Tae Seong finally letting loose on his mom.
Love how they depict the main family as being warm and caring- don’t think I’ve seen a healthier relationship in a k drama (minus the big secret of course).

What a satisfying and heartwarming ending. The last episode is usually rushed, but everything was perfect. Loved the villagers and how warm and supportive everyone was, and the dog was adorable! Some of the violence was too much so I fast forwarded some of it, and even felt a little sorry for the villain in the end. The scenes with the leads were cute and very romcom, and loved how they both saved each other.

What about the woman who has been following ML around for the past 30 years? I hope she gets a love interest because it’s difficult to watch a grown woman be this pathetic over someone who has shown zero interest in her for decades.
Of course we get a fun episode before the k-trauma restarts. Tomorrow’s episode is going to make me mad if they are forcing Su Bin out for something he had zero control over. Blame the parents, not the poor kid whose life is filled with past trauma.
The jealousy scenes were funny, along with the kids testing one. We didn’t get enough of the third couple and their development.
Why is Gyeol the smartest person on this show and has more sense than any of the adults? And why does Mu Jin’s friend call the other guy a monkey and shamed his looks? Do the actors mind that they get shamed with the dialogue? I see this a lot in k dramas and it’s always off putting and demeans the actor or actress the rude comments are aimed at. Lazy writing.

Don’t get me started on the horrible middle sister. Nobody feels sorry for her- always rude to everyone, even after she’s become a doctor. Hope she’s broke and alone once her fiancé leaves her.
This show gets better with every episode, especially after the fourth one when it starts romcomming. I was dying during the bra cup scene, especially the line about being stuffed like a prized turkey. I really love the village ladies!
The beautiful OST along with the ending made me a blubbering mess. It was absolutely perfect! This episode definitely brought on the romance with two confessions, a cute date/bench scene, and a kiss. I cannot wait to watch it again!
