The scene at the mausoleum was perfect. The writers continue to do such a great job with the main leads. Wonder why none of this love is dropping down to Kang su and Bom, who continue to develop at the slowest speed possible. Maybe now because of the reveal he will lean on her for comfort. Ok Bun is also weird- it seems like she’s moved on to the way better vet, but she’s still thirsting over ex-mullet.
Ha ni coming in all smiley and clapping was the best. Happy birthday cutie! Sorry that your mother is a steaming pile of trash. The gall of her to compare her situation to Beum su’s made me rage. You left your family to fend for themselves and then became a trophy wife, but it’s the same as Beum su who likes his ex TA? Where is the truck of doom when we need one?
I’m sure the other awful ex will derail Cheun su’s impending proposal. Just let him be happy.
At the beginning, I didn't like FL's personality and I felt that I was watching a mixture of typical family dramas…
I’m glad we are seeing this side to drinking. In k dramas it’s always used for fun work dinners and drunk confessions or funny scenes. I hope the writers keep this up.
I absolutely love that this show has veered into romcom territory, but doesn’t forget to keep highlighting the amazing food. I was worried that the dinner would be a disaster since she was distracted.
I was hoping that the other chef would be gone after an episode even though I love the actor, and yay to having an episode free of the conniving brother and mother. Despite the preview which is likely misleading, this show keeps exceeding my expectations and gets better with each episode.
Best episode yet. I’m glad we finally got to see the sister’s life before getting married, and why she turned to drinking.
This episode had so many funny scenes (the friends and them bickering like brothers in law were hilarious), and the end was absolutely perfect. I thought his answer would be saved for tomorrow’s episode, but he confessed pretty easily. Their flashback scenes still make me smile, and so happy that she’s been so strong so far in quitting alcohol. Can’t wait until tomorrow!
I don't understand why the FL instantly got heartbroken when she saw the ML with his ex in the lobby. She only…
I think for her it was the realization that nobody will ever love her. She already has such low esteem, and thought maybe there was a chance with the Director since he shows so much interest in her, but he doesn’t like her like that (or so she thinks).
So annoyed with the last two episodes and the case of the guy with Ewing’s Sarcoma. His wife claimed that they didn’t want the surgery, but they went to 11 hospitals until someone was willing to do the surgery and the patient wanted it in the end. Make this shit make sense.
Wow, it all makes sense now. Mind blown! Fantastic episode, and extremely emotional. Now I know why they had Han Ji Min play that character- she was phenomenal.
Awwww, their dating era is so stinking cute that I can’t stop smiling like Dong Seok. Please don’t let there be any roadblocks and let them just be happy (I can dream).
The Eagle family continue to outdo themselves. Usually the storyline would be the dead spouse’s family feels betrayed that the widow/er has moved on, but the brothers just want Gwang Suk to be happy. They really are the best.
Tak continues to be the worst. Same with Beom Su and Cheun Su’s gross exes. Just go away already and let me enjoy the Eagle family in peace.
What in the world was that cliffhanger? I was not expecting the storyline to twist like this. I’m ready for that Celestial asshole to be gone already.
Keep loving GC bonding with everyone, especially the Chief Eunuch and King. Their scenes were so good, and now I’m worried one of them will die. This entire show is keeping me on edge and wondering who is going to bite the dust next. Hoping for a happy ending, but not expecting it.
Do you have any education about addictions? They are super hard to root out and for YEARS and even entire life,…
Oh I definitely know what an addict does, but it’s just hard watching the family treat the poor mother like crap so I was venting. She’s been around this her whole life (first with the father alone then when her daughters got older) that I don’t blame her for reaching the breaking point. There’s only so much you can do to help an addict if they aren’t willing to get the help first.
“I love my chest!” “Look at how big her waist is. She must have removed organs.” This show has the most hilarious one-liners.
I couldn’t stop laughing at Mi ran getting starry eyed at HJ holding the plunger. Then when he started posing with it I lost it. This show is too much!
I am wary why Kang Sol is being so nice. This is not the typical ex, but I hope I’m wrong and she is actually sweet and won’t backstab HJ.
Poor Mi Ran- felt for at the end. I did like her blind date but figured she’s not into him since her heart is somewhere else. Excited for the next 4 episodes.
Still loving this show, but less of the loser sister and boyfriend please. They are both so irritating whenever they are onscreen. I’m supposed to feel sorry for the boyfriend for fainting after working out for a second? Go away already.
We finally got some backstory on HJ, and why he’s obsessed with being fit. It all makes sense now, and it’s so sad. I’m glad the Director didn’t abandon him and wanted him to get the best training.
Bonus points for seeing Lee Jun Young’s actual body instead of the AI one- I definitely prefer the real one. And hope the romance gets started soon because the ex has come back.
What the Tuesday night! How is it not Wednesday yet so I can watch this amazing show and get my weekly laughs in? I have never rewatched an ongoing drama until this one.
I’m still wondering if Ui Jun drinking the soju was a flashback to his alcoholic days, since he woke up from his “dream.” I was enjoying the pace, but of course they put some vengeful boyfriend/brother storyline in there. It’s been done so many times before, and I don’t want to see Ui Jun getting hurt.
Still don’t like the way the three alcoholics treat the mom who is trying to help them, and then brush off Ui Jun’s lecture. They are so selfish, but at least the sister had a glimpse of self awareness. And Guem Ju seems to be going in the right direction. Hope they don’t drag out the past misunderstanding past the next episode.
