You truly didn't understand the drama, and it shows. You should stay away from flashback dramas.

The story doesn't make any sense. It's so inconsistent, feels like every episode was made by seperate persons who didn't watch the previous episodes. The young Jian from the flashback and the current Jian don't even seem like the same person. I mean after what happened in your childhood and how your parents mysteriously died, how can you not realise that your uncle is upto some shady stuff. Especially after he installs bullet proof doors/cabinet in your house. The characters are so dumb! Even a mentally disabled kid has more comprehension skill that the main character. You will find yourself cursing at the screen for ninety percent of the time. The action is so unrealistic, there were numerous times where the main characters should have died but they magically did not. The makers did not even try lol.
Wtf is going on with this toxic fandom?? There's people reviewing the "Reviews".. like "your review was not comprehensive enough", "you didn't back up your review with fact", "your review come off as biased" LOL! There's too many unemployed people.

Atleast this time the actors didn't do much overacting and the FL was more pleasing to look at, I'll give you that.
The only episode I liked was the first episode. I started watching Kdrama with a Shin Hye Sun drama (Stranger) and became a fan of her. I didn't even watch the 2nd season because they killed her in the first. But after watching this and Welcome to Samdalri, I am starting to get pretty annoyed with her acting.
Choi Hyun Wook was amazing in this! He is so good in both comedic and dramatic scenes. Not many Kdrama actors have this talent, that too at such young age.

Yep. I skipped all their scenes. Some of the stories in this drama is very frustrating. This one and the story of the son who doesn't talk to his mother (ep.18-20) are the worst!
Mediocre drama with a really dumb Lead. He keeps asking for "modern things" in 1988, then looks shocked when they can't give them to him. The guy can't really act. Spent the whole show with the same dumb expression on his face.
