Yeah! Totally threw me for a loop! And it still does lol. I keep expecting him to speak Thai and every time he doesn't, i almost chuckle haha. I feel like it would have been better if they just made him a Chinese exchange student in the show who could understand Thai and that his Thai friends just understood Chinese. Or something like that. Because the dub voice doesn't fit him and it's a little strange sounding ^^;;;
Anyone else get the impression that Ram likes Duen or is it just me?
Exactly!! It's always the quiet ones you have to watch out for lol. They know everything haha. He does seem to know Duen the best. His level of jealousy is pretty high too. Like the way he jumped out of his seat at the end of ep2 and was like "Don't use my friend." And made Duen leave. It seemed like much more than platonic overprotection. So, I don't think your thoughts on this are off base! And I do find it interesting that Duen is such a hot commodity lol. It seems like at least three dudes are gunning for his booty currently. And I guess we can't blame them. Duen is super cute and his personality is precious and innocent. These guys weren't prepared lmao.

I also gotten this impression a few times! He seems really overprotective of Duen and almost grumpy or upset when someone is paying him attention. It could definitely be a possibility...
Well, that explains why all of his lines in the show are dubbed over in Thai when it's looking like his mouth isn't speaking Thai at all. Because I was totally confused by that in ep2 of My Engineer. I was looking for information about him and wasn't really finding anything. Thank you for sharing the information you have!
This movie is FUNNY. I find it annoying when people take it serious. I love the fact that it has bad effects,…
Okay, I've been doing the same thing to people lol. This movie made me howl like a banshee from laughing so hard. It was such a gem and impossible to take seriously :,)
I'll be writing this comment here for people interested in this BL movie. The movie is from China which (some…
When I first read your comment before watching this film, I thought you meant he just used his vampire claw in a lock picking type fashion. But when it got to that part and he turned his fingernail into an actual silver key, I lost my damn mind. This was one of the funniest movies I've ever seen, god bless it lol.
Oh my god, okay thank you. I was absolutely terrified by Ling Yi Zhou's character in S1. He was honestly, a psycho.…
Same! I couldn't touch the thing for a while. Just like you, I was loving it before it got complicated. Then the big reveals started flowing in and oof! But after sitting on it for a few weeks, I was already in too deep. Invested too much time on it already that it was like...what's another couple hours of mess? I'd already committed to it. But once the show was over, I felt the most surreal sense of relief yet unease I've ever gotten from a romance drama. And I think it's because you hit the nail on the head there by calling it a horror. It bypassed romance and went straight into Nightmareville with that plot. I'm just relieved now, as it seems (from what you and a few others have said) that the directors took notes from S1 and decided to change some aspects of it that viewers had issues with. I guess S2 is their redo second chance so they aren't practically handing out mental abuse how-to guides to people!

Thank you so much for your detailed response. It actually clears up a lot and makes me less apprehensive to attempt watching it. I usually try to give everything an equal chance, but S1 threw me for a gargantuan loop. I couldn't believe anyone found his actions romantic or justifiable in any sort of sense lol. But as long as he's more or less an "improved" version of his S1 self, I just might be able to watch this version yet haha. Thanks again!
Okay so... this is a parallel universe where he's still a creepy stalker but gets to change the way in which he…
This entire comment had me howling with laughter, to be honest lol. Thank you so much for saying all of this. The male lead had me nauseated in the first season. He should have been commited. Because of that, I've been terrified of watching S2 in fear of it being much like S1. Well, surprise to literally no one, it is. How glorious. #MoreSarcasmFont
I've been so traumatized by the plot twist in S1 that the one in this season seems rather laughable, though it…
Oh my god, okay thank you. I was absolutely terrified by Ling Yi Zhou's character in S1. He was honestly, a psycho. I don't care about spoilers, but can you tell me if he does anything creepy like he did in S1 in this season? Because when I think back to that fake medical report, fake surgery, all the lies, all because he "loved" her, I shudder. I don't want to see that again haha.
To my understanding, this is an alternate universe plot and they aren't technically the same characters as they were in S1. However, I was horrified by his games and constant mind-f*cking towards Xia Lin in the first season. When I think about how he made a fake medical report for her to think she has Leukemia, to then have her follow him around and be rude to her, then admit her into a fake surgery to get a nonexistant transplant and yadda yadda, all because he was secretly in love with her for a long time and she didn't even know he existed...I get goosebumps. His character scared the shit out of me and I don't want to watch him act like a total creep all over again. So in conclusion, (sorry about my rant, S1 really struck a nerve) can someone tell me if Lin Yi Zhou is as crooked and cunning in S2 as he was in the first season? Thank you.
That's honestly the best plan of attack you can have for this. Sometimes, I still think about how much of a complete…
Sure thing haha. Thank the gods there are way better series out there than this one and it can just be forgotten about and swept under the rug like the plot so effortlessly did. Ha!
Lol and here i was trying to force myself to watch this crap. I am glad i read your review now i don't have to…
That's honestly the best plan of attack you can have for this. Sometimes, I still think about how much of a complete and utter mess this series was. A total waste of several hours of my life I can't get back haha. Spare yourself!!! Lol.
Did anybody else get the impression from the last episode that Japan and Junior are possibly siblings? Or can anybody confirm or refute that? I feel like Tanthai went to Junior's house but Japan was there instead with the cat and was talking about how his mom wants him to talk to the cat a certain way and blah blah. But he also said that Junior had left (even though Junior told Tanthai that he'd be taking a shower). So I'm assuming they live in the same house? And therefore could possibly be brothers???
WTF is happening, there are some lines missing, subs are incomplete sometimes. Is it Why R U 2.0?
Agreed. Subbers have been SLACKING lately. Oh, well. I'm sure more versions with better subs will pop up in the near future like they usually do and then we can all rewatch those various missing bits if we feel the need to.

Thank you! I was also curious about this!
