Besides the fact that sweet mls rarely exist in dramaland. He soon became a robotic narcissist Always saying trust…
Totally agree, they dragged different secrets for so long just to end up with lazy writing. Also Soo-bin story turned out, as we expected, just a big lie.
a lot of dramas are promoted under genres that don't match it so I wouldn't only relay on that to start a drama…
As I said, it’s totally fine to be a melodrama, if the plot is well written and developed. To me the idea of the plot is good but it’s not well developed. They are circling around the same 3 problems exploiting the mystery element. Anxiety is good for a certain number of episodes, but at some point the plot needs to proceed. The couple hasn’t face a “real” crisis yet, despite having 3 elements that can cause a lot of harm to them.
Why when people complain about a drama someone always has to bring out romcom or "not being suited for a certain genre". We can like the genre and still find the drama lacking. This drama was promoted as a thriller mystery melodrama about a couple who face a big secret. So far is just a melodrama about a couple facining some problems, fine by me if the plot was proceeding well, but it's not. They are trying hard to use the mystery to keep the viewers watching, but it's not working anymore. The plot is going nowhere and it's dragged. I wanted to give ep. 9 and 10 to see if something major came out, but ep. 9 was another let down.
Rumors say he is dating Katy Louise Saunders, which is a celebrity. She worked in movies and tv shows, most of them italian productions cause she lived in Italy due to her father work. There are no comments from his agency tho.
That's because you're trying to make sense out of nonsense, it can't be done, just consider the ending as trash…
Trash is a big word. The finale explains a lot of things after all and there is also a lot of karma involved for major characters. Repentance over revenge is not a bad idea.
Keeping the connection between Do Joon and Hyun Woo unknown to both leads is what makes it tricky to explain the switch between revenge and repentance.
I kind of get what the author was trying to do, but something is off. I tried different theories to fix the writer’s idea but I guess is not possible without ruining the “secret factor” about leads’ connection. I would have like a more refined finale about time split or similar but overall it still works.
Typical k-drama that start off really good but end up badly cause they filled it with unecessary, not well developed, drama. After the ex-girlfriend showed up, the writing went down a hill.
