Netflix has suspended the domestic and international release of crime film "Time to Hunt," set for April 10, after the Seoul Central District Court accepted a request for an injunction to stop it on Wednesday.
What a great review. Very well written. I'll add this to my PTW.
Thank you! Sometimes I can't express my self clearly due to english, I am glad this one came out good. I hope you can overcome the messy direction and enjoy the peculiar things I mentioned.
Great main idea totally ruined by the stubborn of korean writer to drag the story, not only the main one but also each sub-plot. Cast did a wonderful job into portraying melodramatic characters. What a shame they didn't have the sub-plot they deserved but they were dragged into the same repetitive situation for 100 episodes.
I hated both black and six flying dragon FL character, problem is, in this two case I am wondering if the problem is the acting.... both ruined some fine show to me more than once
Hey Poia I had the exact same reaction as you. I was frustrated with this movie because the script implies that…
my Point exactly.
My comment wasn’t to deny this kind of abuse exist in real life, BUT to point out that in this movie it was badly portrayed and executed. Overall it looked unrealistic.
the “abused child” idea wasn’t well developed and used mainly to give her sister the excuse to go ballistic.
Have you watch “the man of nowhere” ? the social problem about children that live out of society is well developed, and even the action revenge is epic.
"the entire town abused that little girl and no one didn't (sic) anything"You'll be surprised this does exist…
The movie is set in a normal district on a big city, there is school, social worker, neighbors, police and in general any kind of social connection. It’s unbelievable that no one notice the girl had problems. Overall the “abused child” idea wasn’t well developed and used mainly to give her sister the excuse to go ballistic. My comment wasn’t to deny this kind of abuse exist in real life, BUT to point out that in this movie it was badly portrayed and executed. Overall it looked unrealistic. It’s a page about a movie, my comment analyzes the movie. Not the real world. ;)
For example in “the man of nowhere” the topic of child cut out of society was well explained and portrayed
My opinion so far (around ep. 6): I am really enjoying the war between the main leads, unfortunately the show has nothing to offer beside this couple, the law plot is weak and there aren’t other peculiar characters nor sub-plot to entertain us. For those who are sensitive to age gap, despite her looking very young, the age gap is visibile and her wardrobe isn’t helping. I get is part of her character to be “shabby/not rich” but a bit more of female/elegant style couldn’t hurt. I hope in a plot improvement, two main leads can’t hold the show alone despite their talent. Side note: this is a drama about lawyer that don’t have any kind of ethics. Don’t expect rightful things nor nice characters.
I gave a 7.5 I agree on most of your points, beside the OTP chemistry, I didn't feel such a strong chemistry, which I was expecting since everyone only talked about that. Overall I liked the 2nd couple better.
