The ex wife needs a doom truck in the face!!!! Said that, it’s true that the chairman used his money on the brothers, it will be hard to explain he did it to help FL dealing with all the troubles she was getting from them. I guess the third brother will be the hardest to convince since he is so selfish and immature.
The surprise factor about som-i wasn’t well executed like the ending of “The Light in Your Eyes”. Heaven’s rules worked too much conveniently for the sake of the plot. The direction was also messy, with quality inconsistency in the narration. Overall I felt frustrated instead of satisfied by the watch.
I have yet to watch this drama, although the rating is quite disappointing. I am pretty sure, even without seeing…
So far it’s a 7.5 for me. It’s a slice of life set in heaven but without a proper direction, but we can’t tell yet if it’s part of a major plot-line or if it’s just full of holes. 🤷♀️
It started as a nice sport-comedy about a true story of social inclusion to end up in an embarrassing korean propaganda masked as "not give up to difficulties". The final soccer tournament looked more like a battlefield where the Korean national spirit takes over the real reasons of the tournament and everyone becomes a fanatic of Korea.
I think the casting is saving a lot of this drama. Stories are good but disconnected between them. I feel like the plot is going everywhere and nowhere at the same time. The word that came to my mind is “messy” but not in a negative way.
He was also surprised when they guy som-i attacked turned out to be the detective.
I guess he doesn’t really know how some-i is involved in his son’s faith.
Some-i memory is distorted, she fall for him in heaven and probably this is messing with her dreams.
Also, her age doesn’t reflect the time of events. So the alternative is that is all about a different reincarnation.
