It’s so heartbreaking to see grown adults be so rude and disrespectful towards kids that are just living their…
Also the grandpa words were a stab in the back for her. Even who loved her didn’t treat her better. Add the father who cares for ML’s mom and :((
well… adults can be bad unfortunately.

I don't hate her at all, but I think they have not given enough background to understand why the trauma is. OK…
Just because there are other with trauma it doesn’t mean everyone react to it in the same way. That’s why psychology exist.

There are different way to react to trauma. In this case she didn’t face it but ran away, from the village but also from him cause, despite how much she loves him, he reminds her about the dynamic between her dad/ML’s mom, etc.

A second way is to develop such hate toward what made you suffer that you became bitter about life, you push away others, including treating bad who loves you. FL is like this, in addition she is a hot-head by nature. So of course she came off like a bitchy character. But that’s the point considering her psicological background.

If you put all this into the story.. you get a FL with such a character, that went away to avoid everything but get followed by him all the time. Her first love didn’t allow her to move on. And when she went to see if he was really happy with this new girl, he started again to care about her. It’s normal for her to be confused and bitter about it.

(english not my first language sorry if it’s confusing).

they share a moment at the end of ep. 6

Has the lead had any intimate moments again after the first night together? I just saw a clip, and I am confused.

Your childhood trauma doesn’t give you the right to emotionally abuse someone who has never done anything wrong…
Pushing away who loves you by being bitter is one of the first thing you do when you are hurt. Some people are like that. They are so mad at everything. It’s hard to move on. She said it herself about how she find it hard to just accept her friends’ help without be bitter about it.

As much as I admire the ML, I’m so glad he stopped being a stiff tree. Finally, he is taking care of himself…
I liked a lot that part!!

it's funny but the rating just keeps dropping even though the story is picking up. episde 6 was the BOMB
I think people decided to focus on the few cliches instead of trying to get the powerful script about what FL suffered and how she is now trying to heal.

What more do you need? FL said it from episode one that she felt like she was born by mistake. And with each episode we find out more and more of what she had to suffer because of that.

Am I the only one that understands the female lead instead of hating on her?!
Nope. I like her from episode 1. She was very honest about her trauma and why she was so bitter. We just didn’t know the context, and the drama is doing a really good job in unveil what she suffered.

Good point. I suspect her mom passed away because her dad was too busy solving ML’s mom’s problems which adds…
I suspect the same with her mom. She didn’t suffer only the bullying from the village. She has trauma with her father always focusing on ML’s mom and also what happened to her own mom.

We have leads that work on their character development and relationship. It’s well written and directed. I don’t see where is this misunderstanding you all talk about. She is hurt and the only way she found to feel better was to leave, including giving up to him. It’s hard to forget your first love tho, so she is confuse when he keeps helping her. At the end of ep. 5 he tells her clearly why he is doing that. And he is right. It’s up to him now to figure out how to forget her. Also, how can FL be annoying when for once, we have a FL that is working on herself. She is aware about how bad her behavior is cause she can’t move on from her trauma. She wants to move on but it’s hard for her.

A woman who gives up to her first love to focus on her dream career, cause she was tired to be seen as the “motel girl”, and god knows what other rumors she had to suffer in that rural village. Yes… such a bad FL…..what’s wrong with people, complaining about cliches in drama and then whining cause FL is not a damsel in distress. She is the most intresting FL we got in a while in a romance.

I liked a lot the direction. The story may have cliches but it was told in a very different way than usual. Key scenes and sharp dialogues allowed us to get a portrait of the leads.

I loved when she said she didn’t give up on him to live such a lame life. I hope she will get her work life together.
