it's half of the show that I'm telling you! Yeok is selfish egocentric!
He wanted to become king thinking of being better than his brother.
marry the woman you love well knowing that you condemn her and her family to death
because of your and her social position ...... nothing is more selfish.
why the hell she keep loving him?
At least the KING, despite his madness, knows how politics works.
I don't like Nam Goong Min and I'm a bit tired of this kind of plot. Be honest, should I watch it? If…
I didn't say he is not a good actor, I said I don't like him.
Watch a lot of his drama, even like some of his role, notice his improvement but the spark just didn't start. De gustibus non est disputandum!
I'm forced to choose cause I don't have time to watch everything while on air.
But sometimes I make the wrong call, and found out later on that I miss a good drama.
That's why I start asking info.
thx for now I will stick to criminal minds.
I want some action, bit tired of political stuff.
Can someone make me a summary of the first ep? I think I didn't understand very well
LOL welcome to the club. Kidding!
Apparently, the first episodes have confused many, but then the show improves a lot. I still had to match the recap because I was struggling to follow the subtitles.
RECAP EP. 1
Sueng Woo is investigating his corrupt colleagues and his informant is
CEO Park Moo who is directly involved in the corruption of these prosecutors.
Seung woo goes to CEO's park house moo and finds him dead, analyzing the scene of the crime he understands the first suspect is the TV repairman Kang Jin-sub.
They capture him and accuse him of theft and murder even though he proclaims innocence.
The repairman Kang Jin-sub is charged with murder with evidence of a video showing that the victim was still alive while he was playing the doorbell to enter.
Eun Soo bring this evidence only at the last minute so the defendant lawyer can't analyze that.
KANG JIN SUB is sentenced and sent to prison.
Throughout the investigation, it is understood how various prosecutors and cops have accepted women and money from this park's CEO moo and are therefore all corrupt and involved in a conspiracy, and most likely the agents of the murder.
In addition, their intent is to get rid of seung woo who is investigating on them.
Han Yeo Jin the policewoman returns to the crime scene for another reason and in her investigation discovers some blood behind the CEO park home, which means that maybe someone else may be the culprit.
While in jail KANG JIN SUB sends a suicide-style letter where he states that he is innocent.
(sorry for my english,
you need at least to watch till ep. 4 to really get what's happening, it's a big scheme about corruption)
Honestly so far it's really good! I'm a Sejeong fan but even I was a little concerned about how her…
I think Kim So Hyun from school 2015 is a lot better as actress. I've seen her in other roles when she was younger and she was good as the lead actress.
It's an adaptation. They are pressured to stick to the original plot. The writers cannot write the story…
I don't think the adaptation should be like the original, what's the point to call it an adaptation?
It's like making a cover song and don't customize it with your own sound and voice.
I think there is no problem too take some hint from the original show and make their own plot.
Especially if you consider that the format of k-drama is complete different, one night stand season! :D and I like that way, in fact I almost drop american tv show. I was tired about endless seasons, cast that changes constantly and draggy plot, because after billions of seasons, how can you keep up the interest?
If we add the different culture and a total different budget $$$ for production, you can pretend they make it like the original.
As I always say, too many comparisons ruin the expectation and affect the objective judgment.
Try to reason from their point of view, they do not even have the money to make decent graphic effects, and the slot channel system it's complete different, they need to comply with a tot numbers of episodes considering the show that airs after.
by the way....
1. I never watch the original series of criminal minds.
2. the MDL votes should never take too seriously.
3. I'm not defending this drama, because I only saw 2 ep.
I'm defending Korean production system, from an unremitting pressure from American shows when there are no conditions to compete at the same level.
4. What the hell is "unremitting" I hate google translate! I meant "constant" pressure!!
Plz don't compare this with stranger
I know it's hard to appreciate a drama after seeing a quality one that is definitely above the average of the k-drama industry.
But can we try to respect the genres?
This is a pure crime, it is more like special affairs team TEN, IRIS, You're All Surrounded, Voice....
In this case the team squad is about profilers.
The plot of the first 2 episodes was pretty predictable, but I really like the soundtrack.
And I was eager for some action. I will stick around a bit and see.
about a time!! We hit the opening scene!
Chae Kyung finally give us her best.
Her acting in the opening of the first episode convinced me to watch this drama,
I was so expecting a tragic love.
Yeok I guess your way wasn't so good afterall.
You lost everything just to become the king.
Best revenge in history, let's see if he likes to wear his brother's clothes.
Again, Lee Dong Gun's acting as the king is just amazing, one of the best portrayals of a king in my history…
I love him from the start!
Among all the historical drama I have watched, I must say that the only actor who competes for me is Lee Joon Gi in the role of Wang So. Even though it was mostly a prince.
I don't remember any other performance with particular attention
despite having seen several sageuk.
I know it's a drama based on a true story !! But let's imagine it was not like that. The king became…
Of course a king can't be that way, same goes for all modern dictators.
That is why I asked to analyze everything leaving out the historical political part.
It's night when they add sub.
I still don't get why chae kyung keep helping the king but always and up to favorite yeok.
He wanted to become king thinking of being better than his brother.
marry the woman you love well knowing that you condemn her and her family to death
because of your and her social position ...... nothing is more selfish.
why the hell she keep loving him?
At least the KING, despite his madness, knows how politics works.
This time zone thing is not fair at all!
Watch a lot of his drama, even like some of his role, notice his improvement but the spark just didn't start. De gustibus non est disputandum!

If I have to choose I prefer to watch criminal minds, at least that is a pure crime.
