Great show
I disagree with the low rating of this drama. It's a very good show. The creators clearly worked hard and did a professional job. The unusual story keeps you interested the whole time.
Good directing and camera work. Great cast with good acting from everyone.
Lee Min Ho's acting was amazing from start to finish. I wasn't his fan before, but this role and his role in Pachinko changed my mind. I'm now excited to see his future work.
Some might think there are mistakes in the show. But remember, it's science fiction with comedy. The first half of show has light humor, and some scenes are almost silly, but they fit the style and are well done.
Also, the creators explained many confusing parts. If you watch carefully, many things make sense.
The only thing I didn't like was how they showed the Korean Space Agency and Mission Control Center. Maybe they didn't have enough money for better scenes. Still, many space and technology elements are shown well.
The ending is very sad but believable.
After pregnant Eve goes to space and Ryong is sentenced by the court, there couldn't be a happy ending for them. We don't see it, but we can imagine the few months they spent together at the space station were happy.
They probably knew they wouldn't survive (especially Ryong). But as Eve says in the middle of the show, dying isn't so scary if you're happy.
For me, this show is about being loyal to someone you love, to your job, to science, to humanity, and to life itself.
The creators took a risk by choosing very difficult themes of space, obstetrics and gynecology, and made a great comedy that turns into a drama that really touches your heart. I think it's one of the best Korean shows.
