Episodes stop (although listed as 90 completed episodes on some sites) at 62 -- the remaining episodes are repeats…
There are at least 3 versions out there. If each episode is 45-min long, then the last episode is 62. If each episode is 28-min (cut) or 33-min (uncut), then the last episode is 90.

I did not completely get the plots involving the scroll..but it was more understandable than the exam cheating…
Alibi is proof that the person is somewhere else when a crime is taking place so we cannot say the PM has an alibi. The change of the room number led to the discovery of the true accomplices who then confessed the “real” perpetuator. I believe Xu Chang Ping orchestrated the whole plan for the PM after being approached by the Crown Prince.

Regarding the comment on the ban, are you referring to what I wrote because that was not what I meant at all. The drama finished shooting and post-production and they submitted the finished product for approval as required in China. The Chinese censor approved it but not the ending. They cannot shoot new scenes because filming has already ended so they used what they have shot to come up with a new ending.

They had to change the ending after filming wrapped due to the censors' requirement. Since they didn't film some of the scenes needed for the new ending, they reshuffled the scenes they had filmed.

The Youtube version is neither extended nor uncut. Nowadays dramas are not allowed to have web versions that contain scenes not in the TV broadcast.
