Leo Wu is now one of my favorite Chinese actors. I watched this for him and he did not disappoint
And one more comment….it now makes total sense to me if the ML was gay, and actually makes the film that much more meaningful and rich with the underlying tension that permeated the whole way through. It would also explain the seemingly out of nowhere violence from his awful father. It just makes the whole movie make more sense.
