Novel wins, but drama was worth watching.
Novel is much more complex with 200+ chapters, we can understand the characters more... But there are some scene I personally love it more in the drama... And the novel has moooore steamy scenes of XW & JXN i'm gagged reading 3x to understand.. but i love it! 😳🫣🤣

Novel vs Drama
I'm so satisfied with the BIG CHANGE OF THE PALACE TRAGEDY ENDING...! XW keeps being the most righteous man until the end, supporting Shen Lang as the emperor... While in the novel, it's better if u like tragic story more..! But I personally loves ALL changes made into the drama ❤️❤️❤️

Thank u for making the drama version much more acceptable in many aspects, & the portrayal of XW is also much better in drama...

For me, SoKP is the best 2023 colosal drama ❤️ SoKP is a story about XW from JXN's POV... It's so romantic to see JXN in 2nd life is changing everything including her love destiny... And XW get his secret love (in 1st kife) into his wife (2nd life)...

And this is the best of the best 'Happy Ending' story I ever watched!
