literally me right now. i wait all weekend for the subs and naturally they come out just as im about to go to bed on a Sunday night when i have to be up early for work soon. but am i gonna stay up to watch the whole episode?

A spin off of TinCan would be so great. They really should focus their efforts on that as opposed to trying to wrangle people together for a second season of all these characters.

i agree that most BLs with second seasons suck but technically wasn't Together with Me a second season of Bad Romance? and Together with Me was actually far better than Bad Romance (but i'm biased bc i just wanted more KornKnock). but man Next Chapter sucks so bad. im pushing through it only for KornKnock scenes and even they aren't that great.

haha that's the thing about watching Thai BLs. you eventually reach a point where you start to wonder if the actors are really gay. but i would highly doubt it.

The only reason why I'm looking forward to the end of the series is so I can binge it all the way through again. :)

Oh for sure, Addicted had its flaws and was by no means a perfect show. I agree, it's still the best Chinese BL and in my opinion THE best BL I've seen.

Completely agree about Addicted. So far no other BL tops (pun intended?) Addicted. Having read the novel I think you're right, any farther than where they ended the show would've led it down a dark path.

Also the feel and tone of Addicted is a lot different than LBC so it's almost unfair to compare them, I guess? But from a purely acting and chemistry standpoint I think the two main actors in LBC are similar to Addicted, though obviously not quite there yet.

Fingers crossed LBC continues down the good path that it's going. I almost don't wanna jinx it lol.

Alright, more than halfway through this show and I can definitively say that this one is going right up there with Addicted for me. I search and search but nothing leaves me shook as much as Addicted (and nothing probably will). But this show has ALL THE FEEEELS ughhhh. And the leads have chemistry and are natural and actually act like they're in love.

I can't. My heart can't take it!! Wish I hadn't started the show while it was still airing because this is DEFINITELY a binge worthy show.

So I never watched the anime series but this came up on my Netflix suggestions so I started on a whim to kill time. Honestly? I loved it. I went into it blind, but having watched Death Note and Full Metal I can truly say this is a far better live action adaptation than a lot of the recent stuff that's out there. This was entertaining, well acted, special effects were superb, and the live action didn't make stuff feel "lame" or odd. And I legit hope and pray Netflix comes out with a sequel because I'll be looking out for it!

So funny story, I kept skipping over this drama bc yeah if you're gonna portray a BL novel on screen then it better be BL not this bromance crap (and I understand that's totally not the fault of the crew and that their hands were tied). So naturally I passed on this (and I had never even read the book!)

Months later, I stumbled upon the eng translation of the novel on Wattpad and decided to give it a shot. HOLY. EFF. Now, I've read quite a few BL books, and watched some of them get turned into tv series, etc. etc. But TRUST when I say that this is one of the best BL books out there. Just. Phew. If you've read Addicted then to give you a gauge, I found this better than Addicted. It's simple, to the point, gives smut but also excellent character building and no lie, it was the first time I had ever truly cared for the characters on an emotional level in a BL novel.

So, having read the novel and knowing full well that the TV series doesn't incorporate BL, I still decided to give the TV series a shot because I wanted to see it for myself now that I had read the books. Can't be that bad right? WRONG. Look, maybe if I had watched the TV series before reading the novel I might not be too harsh on it, and maybe if the novel wasn't just so damned good I wouldn't even have watched the tv series. But the reality is that, of all the BL novels that got watered down to bromance tv series (*ahem* Advance Bravely), this one hurts the most. Because the novel is just so freaking good. And it sucks so deeply that the TV series had to be a bromance. Because man oh man would I have loved to see this BL truly come to life on my screen.

So that's it. I just had to come here and rant because I am severely disappointed.

Yeah they also added Club Friday, the season with Push and the amazing actress who played as a butch lesbian. Been watching it since yesterday then I'm gonna make my way over to this show. If Netflix keeps posting Thai dramas I'm going to end up watching the ones I probably would never have watched! Gotta love Netflix.

This is on Netflix in the US so will definitely be checking out!

Ugh good luck getting eng subs soon! Chinese dramas in particular, I've noticed, take a long time to get subbed. I always get excited reading the synopsis of dramas only to end up waiting months for subs. :(

I do not understand the hype for this drama. When it was airing it was all over the sites so naturally I gave it a shot. I was so disappointed. To this day I do not understand why it was so hyped up?? I mean it's an average drama. It didn't suck, but it sure as hell wasn't this super amazing drama. It's forgettable. And yeah the leads had no chemistry so that sucked. Don't watch this, but if you have to, then don't get your hopes high.
