Sand they solved all the problems and tensions that arose in this ep within the next 3-4 minutes that I was like wtf that was it? All that build up for nothing? They could’ve made it so much interesting but it was meh. If I wasn’t watching on premiere, I would’ve skipped all the unnecessary parts coz it was cringed. I love this series sm please don’t downfall in the last eps.

This ep9 was my least fav ep till now of this series ngl. Every problem or tension that arose in this ep was solved so superficially and easily within the next 3-4 minutes that I’m not buying it. This series has its ups and really great moments but this ep was just not it.

Idk why I was delaying watching this movie. Today I watched it and it was one of the most beautiful films ever. People always kinda leave out Taiwanese dramas. But no other country can do it like the Taiwanese. Taiwanese dramas just hit different. Just raw cinematography and storytelling. No need of comic relief. No need of unnecessary plot devices. I don’t trust anyone who didn’t cry during the phone booth scene and the last scene.

The film may not necessarily be about pedophilia but still the film is about predatory gay man manipulating a teenager which is a dangerous message. But it’s a conflicted premise so it can be interpreted in many ways still one cannot deny the lurking predatory behaviour so ultimately many people find it problematic. Same goes for why I replied to you that way though I didn’t mean to be judgemental as I had interpreted the way you phrased that question to be iffy .

How do you not know tharntype is a toxic couple if you’ve watched it? Bruh as much as I love both the actors, type was very toxic lover and tharn also isn’t without faults as he sexually assaulted type in the very first episode. Not to mention about how they let loose a first degree criminal who planned a gangrape of a minor. People should stop mentioning such dramas. It’s the same tier of problematic premise as call me by your name which features pedophilia.

But why they speaking in English in a low-key voice with no English subs? Most of the audience is non native English speakers. And I’m someone who can usually watch English movies without subs but I could barely understand what was being said over the thrilling bg music which was sending me tf out. Tho I agree it has potential to become something big.

The new short teasers are very sketchy and they’re speaking in English in a low-key voice to sound cool and dark. At first I was so impressed but it’s now becoming a bit iffy for me. I’m not sure how it’ll turn out to be. It’ll either be very good or just a wannabe cool- dark dud. Time will tell.

I get what you’re saying and yes last three eps can be a lil draggy and acting was good by most times. It’s my fav because how and what it made me feel(which is how I rate my dramas overall) and it made me cry a river so... I understand it’s not for everyone.

You should watch 1000 stars too. It won best lgbtq programme Asia this year.

Yeah it’s like manner of death and history trapped but I hope it executes the action better than trapped and there is more chemistry than manner of death. It looks like a masterpiece so... but those few lines can literally be THE HIDDEN MESSAGES. Maybe I’m too dramatic but I’m so excited and also I don’t have any good bls now
