At some part I felt bored
The drama was about the history of China and how its people suffered when the Japanese invaded their country, and how they fought against them. As an Indian, I could relate to their suffering, as we experienced similar hardships under British rule. Our patriots often felt helpless because the colonizers had guns and pistols, while we were unarmed. Yet, we fought courageously and gained independence in 1947. According to the story, China was liberated from the Japanese in 1949. Since it was based on a true story, the drama focused more on historical events than on love stories.
One love story remained incomplete.
I had hoped that, in the end, the story would have resolved that love story properly. Overall, it was a good story, but I think very few viewers would truly enjoy it.
