Seo Joon is deeply in love with Jiwoo and so he's lost without him. Thus, he's trying EVERYTHING and ANYTHING. He probably thinks that if he just persist, be patient, more understanding and not give up, just like he did before, eventually Jiwoo would break his walls again. But after listening in on Jiwoo's convo with his ex, I think he finally got it and will give up the fight.
