i swear i have rarely hated a character as much as i hate pin. the parents are all easy; they're awful people…
She was consumed by pain and anger, but she eventually came to her senses in the finale. I’m not sure that would be convincing enough for you—it certainly wasn’t for some of the fans or viewers.
Done!!! Wow! That was quite a ride. It took me a couple of episodes before I became really invested in the story…
Beautifully expressed. I share your sentiments.
I don’t excuse or justify Kamfa’s actions either — what he did was wrong and he clearly crossed the line — but I can understand what drove him to act that way. Saenkaew was portrayed as a devoted son and a kind-hearted person, so I've always believed he would eventually forgive his father.
As for Pin, I never really hated her; I felt sorry for her. She was deeply hurt and momentarily consumed by hatred, but in time she woke up and stayed true to her heart.
I’ve always believed that Sasin and Saenkaew were destined for a happy ending. Their story was what mattered most to me. Honestly, even if the series had ended with the two of them together on that train, I would have been completely satisfied.
"Why do folks like this?" Most probably cos it is good. In terms of Thai BLs standards or BLs in general, this is by far better than most BLs out there.
Do you know which song they had sung in the first episode of Love in the Moonlight, where Sasin first appears…
It’s called “ดาวล้อมเดือน” (Stars Around the Moon). The singer and actor from the series, Act Chokchai, sang it on his YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j9lxIiRaLw4
Haha...the drooling over Sasin. Well, he is a fine specimen. I miss them already. I hope we get a special episode…
I think I will too, it will be my first review, if ever. I am not that good with words and am usually content with interaction in the comments section.
no bc I was so ready to see the dad suffer for making his suffer all his life 😭😭😭
I understand that we want to see more accountability from Kamfa, but sometimes—if not most of the time—losing what you value most is punishment enough. For him, having his son turn against him and run away likely caused more than enough pain. And knowing Saenkaew, he’ll forgive his father time and time again—it would be out of character for him not to.
Did you finish it? You probably haven’t seen enough Thai series to call this the worst one ever. Even compared to non-Thai shows, this ranks higher than most of the hundreds I’ve watched. But hey, to each their own.
Some reasons it’s far from the worst: the plot, acting, music, pacing, and chemistry all hold up really well.
