Your English is completely fine! It does feel like they're moving towards an American approach in a way which…
Thank you. I agree with you on that side because the visuals are blessing. But what is missing in most if not all k-drama nowadays is that special feeling you mentioned. I like arthdal chronicles by the way, because it has a kinda of an interesting plot and completely different concept of what usually kdramas are about.
My God. Where do I even start, I couldn't agree with you more. I have been watching kdramas since early 2012 and just like you said, it was love at first sight. Me with Kwon Sang-woo as Seo Joon-young from ( sad love story) though. And then Secret Garden and all the classic ones. But ever since ....WHAt 2014 I haven't seen a drama that made me feel like I wanna watch it or even a bit excited. It's like being in a relationship for so long that it doesn't affect you at all. You see them do stuff that once made your heart flutter or skip a beat and you are just like Meh, I don't want to do anything with you. And it's kinda of sad becouse I am a huge fan of Korea and it's culture and people. Nowadays I just go back to watching the old favourites. I truly find it hard to believe that there are not even a one drama that makes me a bit interested in wanting to watch it. Not even ONE!. So to answer your question, I don't think anything can beat how we first felt about the old drama when we first saw them. Becouse yes the quality has changed over the years and I don't think we the viewers are the problem but rather the style of the dramas that are made nowadays. We the viewers fell in love with the culture difference between what we used to see in western tv shows and what we saw in kdramas. You know everything that made kdramas great. But ever since kpop and kdrama has become popular it seems like they have adopted the western culture in their dramas, to be relatable to their consumers. Not that anything is wrong with western culture but when I came to watch your content I did it becouse I am interested in your culture. Man I just wanted to get out a little bit of my frustration with kdramas out but it seems that I have written a lot. Please bare with me if my comment seems to be all over the place. English isn't my first language hence the mess. But in all I will like to take the time to tribute to all the dramas that warmed up our hearts, you will be missed dearly and know nothing is gonna replace you EVER!.
He applied for multiple jobs before their wedding and he was accepted by one of them. But the job he was offered…
I think he will. I've seen a clip of him doing something (I don't want to spoil anything). But yeah he will be in the future episodes, how many? I don't know.
can someone tell me what happens to Jiaming?? Maybe its because I skipped a few parts but I havent seen Jiaming…
He applied for multiple jobs before their wedding and he was accepted by one of them. But the job he was offered was to go and work in Kenya (Africa). So he choose to work there instead of his marriage to Qiyue. Hence we haven't seen him in the latest episode.
I legit don't understand why people are hating on Qiyue so much. I have watched until episode 20 and she is not as bad as people are painting her to be. If anything she is too naive and friendly. Besides everything that An Sheng did she did it for her friendship with Qiyue. Even though she ended up regretting that after her mother's death. Which led to the friendship break between the two of them. Jaiming was part of it but not completely. So in the end the reason why I think Qiyue is not bad is because I haven't seen her plot or attack anyone so far.
Spoiler Alert! Is anyone else going through déjà vu watching this show?I understand the usual drama tropes...…
Well it's true, you're not having a déjà vu it's a remake of the 2015 drama (because this is my first time). They changed the story line of some of the main characters but everything else is the same.
