Yes I agree that KHS just wasn't good enough as Soo Wan when everyone else did wonderfully...I found that she made Soo Wan really inconsiderate and selfish when she was meant to be those
I couldn't feel the chemistry between Lin Hu Chong and Ying Ying so I can't accept the ending. I've only seen this version so I don't really know how the original is but I love Dong Fang Bu Bai and Lin Hu Chong together in this and I wish they were together at the end! Even if both had died then I still would've been satisfied as long as they were together but killing DDBB was too cruel despite her demonic past.
Haha I wonder if Dae Jang Geum 2 ever be made - one minute it's on another it's not aigoo I'm not particular bothered if there will be one or not but it's just funny looking at MBC trying to desperately to hold onto something that was more than 10 years ago. They should spend their energy crating something as legendary as Dae Jang Geum that trying to recreate it cause it clearly isn't working out for them
But premise of this sageuk does sound promising though I'm not a fan of the casts mentioned so far
Wow! The girl playing Christina looks really weird....couldn't they have gotten an actually foreigner to play her? It would've made more sense. I hope it'll work out she's one of my favourite characters!
I am worried about this sequel it's meant to be about Jang Geum as a teacher which sounds great but will it be as good as the original? Even a little bit will be good enough for me.
I hope that after many years of pushing it and finally getting Lee Young Ae to do it - it might actually be good. Hopefully.

I actually liked if you call it like most the villains mentioned above John Mayer, Moon Ik Seok, Jo Kwan Woong, Min Joong Kook, Lee Jin Pyo and so on they had so much depth and I thoroughly felt for them and hated them -except Jo Moo Cheol he was a good guy all the way. I hate stupid pathetic villains who want fame, money or love they end up so unrealistic and their motivate makes no sense so I prefer villains who has something more than just fame, money and love
Shame that Han Hyo Joo isn't on here! In my opinion she's one of the most, if not the most, beautiful actress out there and one of the most versatile! If you look at what she's done so far she's played A LOT of different roles and I love her, she's my girl crush and has a special place in my heart. Her looks isn't amazing but I think she is sooo beautiful and aging with grace too! Simply love her!
And my husband (yes he is :P) Yoo Seung Ho isn't on the list! His deep dark mysterious eyes (and brows) and killer smile is to die for!! Plus at his age (21) he's incredibly talented!!! Sooooooo talented!!! I hear he's also really popular in Korea too as the national little brother and little So Ji Sub it's a shame. He's definitely no. 1 on my list hehehe. Damn you military enlistment taking him away from me!
