The book mainly focuses on their present life with a glimpse of their past life from SY's perspective throughout the story, and it adds all for the reason why SY loved ZSC so deeply, which he just knew near towards the end of the book. In addition, MBFB's (the author) way of conveying all of the emotions to this story is just✨ and also shout-out to Hoju, the translator, for successfully bringing the translation to life. Wonderful.
I'm excited how the screenplay will adapt and differ from the book, because if I'm not mistaken the book potrayed ZSC's family to be quite complicated
