I'm probably poking the fire here, but I don't understand why this was so popular. I tried to watch it 3 times,…
I managed to push through all 30 eps only bc of the high ratings - and I completely agree with you. It's good... but not amazing and I really didn't care for a lot of it
I loved this show at the start, precisely because they played the cliche tropes well... but the last few episodes have been an absolute cringe fest between Hari & Taemu I cannot where did the good screenwriting go
Urm, is anyone else extremely uncomfortable with the way they're portraying the ChaeRok's father??? The guy doesn't deserve any sympathy he literally beat up students & ChaeRok shouldn't have to be around him
Han Tae Seok was the best-written character 100%. I usually love HHJ & PHS but they lacked any romantic chemistry & life & charisma. The villains made this drama way more interesting, whilst the main leads stuck to their 2D justice warrior personalities, and HHJ appeared extremely selfish at times which put me off. I was disappointed in their characters, especially because I have watched their previous dramas and I know they have more to offer.
Plus, I agree with the comments on the rushed nature of the ending. There were too many loose ends
EDIT: some say that HHJ's character was meant to be that way. Well, in that case, prepare to not feel sympathetic or attached to the main leads who have many flaws
Please recommend me another drama like this (not plot wise, more like the feelings it gave you) - it's the first time I'm rewatching a drama because I haven't found anything else with the same vibe

Let HHJ x LJS be a thing!!
