It's an amazing work about revenge, but not at all the kind everyone is used to. There are no bloody showdowns here: the cruelest part is that Li Gang only gives the beginning, and Ho Moon thinks about everything else himself - and thus destroys his life himself.

The story is based on only two people, and this is its strength: on one side - a writer who did not let go of the past and was tormented by a sense of inferiority, on the other - an offended orphan. And the way Lee Gang makes Ho Moon believe and fully immerse himself in his plot is truly impressive. Ho Moon doesn't even notice how he becomes the author of his own fall.

It's not about a blow to the face, but about a blow to the most vulnerable - to those thoughts that have been spinning in my head for years. This makes revenge feel even more terrible: it is quiet, but irreversible. The film is not action, but how it accurately shows how the past can control us if we allow it. A very strong, psychologically verified story.
