starting was okay but the story was weak.. she does series, variety shows but they edit to make her look vilian, cut good scenes etc... i mean they say she is not a good actress so at most they keep the good scene and reduce the rest here they do the opposite 😂..
i have a doubt.. did the ML live with father after mom's divorce.. from later conversation we know that his father was not good man so I think he lived with his mom before going abroad... I don't have much idea about Chinese household register but if his mom remarried FLs dad would be registered in their register and assuming this how would ML and FL get married 😑

yes... even if her mother was dead they usually show some flashbacks from the childhood.. even the ML first i thought he was emperors own brother... but then they say MLs parent are dead.. the world building was lacking very much
the bond between the emperor and his brother(ML) is a type rarely seen in historical dramas especially when the brother has military control while also marrying (FL) whose father also has military control...
it's a fun watch but I don't understand one thing the subtitles on the one i watched used to refer FL as 4th miss and her syster as 3rd miss.. who are the 1st and 2nd miss then... The background of the characters are rarely mentioned.. so there are quiet a lot of gaps in the story
