the only way for mr to access chinese dramas legally in my country is through Netflix and viki. I have netflix subscription but only few are available in my region (and they won't be available in future also) so no choice... some that get uploaded by youku are mostly available on YouTube

u can use an app called onstream that's what I use for some series but recently they removed their inbuilt player so have to use splayer, but it works fine on the Google tv. Another way is telegram .
