So if I interpret it correctly, The King did not lose money for Studio Dragon and Kim Eun Sook, because they were clever enough to sell the rights prior to broadcast. In other words, they mimicked Wall Street by syndicating all the risk to other parties... But that means that the one who purchased and was hoping for high viewership ratings is the loser: SBS. Also, the brand image of Lee Min Ho and Kim Eun Sook has received a dent. Hardly positive news for the LMH and KES fans out there right?
