oh my god this is amazing, people are complaining about how long its taking but its quite rare for kdramas to get another season and it hasnt actually been that long since the first one released
OKAY I JUST CAME FROM FINSIHING THIS SERIES AND I NEED TO DEFEND IT
it's a story about loving and accepting each other, learning that love doesnt mean change for someone. be yourself, accept each other, and only then can you be happy. No matter what other changes you make or try to change, unless you can be yourself with who you love then nothing will work out. its true there are a lot of plot holes but the chemistry, trust, and experience that develops between the couples is so special. Personally, I think there could have been way more improvement for diao and yi but liankuea and nuersyn both have such beautiful chemistry. the last couple episodes had me absolutely sobbing and smiling so hard i COULD NOT STOP.
It's also, uhmmm, VERY gratitutious with the fan service and cutesy stuff if that's something you're looking for.
AND THE MUSIC IS SOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!
the biggest thing is that id say its a super nice drama to watch if you're trying to take a break from heavy, tragic dramas which often occur in the BL drama so...yeah! the plot isnt all that special but i think for me, the chemistry just kept it all alive.
i do absolutely adore max and nat and i wouldnt say that it wasn't that they didnt have chemistry but i just....think the execution for their story was...kind of awful.
OH AND PERTH??? PERTH IS IN THE SERIES SO....always a huge plus I believe that nunew's acting does need some improvement but for his first project and being guided by Zee, they did a WONDERFUL job. JUST KEEP WATCHING!!! Zee's acting is especially something purely beautiful, all of his expressions are impossible to look away from.
most of all, this drama has a huge respect and effort towards pushing for equality and doing so in thai society which i think its really important. There are places where they double down on boundaries, consent, and making sure both friends and couples are comfortable. it's SO important.
super well made and put together show but the ending is open and doesn't quite make sense. i think everything was great up until the last couple episodes.
Is there any romance???Which eps main leads get started dating??
it takes a long time for the leads to get together because while romance is part of the series it mostly focuses on the military aspect and power struggles
