I wanted so badly to blame alan but I couldn't after episode 5. both of them have been in this relationship for so long but neither can truly let go. the fact of the matter is that neither of them are to blame, its messy, its the end of a long relationship. but wen acknowledging at the end that he hasn't been doing what he should because he also had some sort of hope; its truly a representation of the way love works
