Just finished it and honestly, there were a lot of things this drama could improve on (like the storyline, some of the important keys are missing and it makes no sense which leave the audience to be confusing). However, I actually like it, watching this made my heart flutter most of the time since I personally could relate to plots! So overall, it was a cute drama LOLL pluss they ain't dragging the plot but that is downside b/c some of the storyline is like being cut or summm...

I don’t remember where I got the information from but I heard legend of white snake or the other versions always ends up sad that’s why I’m not watching it.
Lol not all Cdrama are sad tho. Especially the modern one like LOVE o2o, this drama was the killer, I love it soo soo muchhh! I haven’t watch Oh my general too but hopefully I’ll watch soon because i heard it similar to the legend of Yun xi

But overall I think it’s lovely and what disappointing me the most is the ENDING!!!! Huhuhhuhuhu. Girl me too, I’m still depressing lol becuase now I’m re watching it with sub again and just seeing them togther made me tearing up like crazy!!! I just wish the ending is better! Btw have you watch oh my general yet?

Honestly I’m not sure becuase I think the novel is not fully finished yet and yes they didn’t included many events happen in the novel. I’m not sure in the novel has a happy ending or not but doubt it tho! Yeah I just want a second season for the ending but I really like Yun Xi and fei yei (shipping them hard man lol) sum up i really want a season 2 ;)
They should expand the story... I mean they cut down so many things from novel. Plus “the eternal love” has lowkey confusing ending too but they making a 2nd season for it. (The plotting like you said it has nothing else to show But they still expand the story) so I’m really hope someone’s would make a season 2 for “legend of Yun Xi”
