It's true that some of these topics are sensitive, but as I am from the Asian culture, I am not bothered by it. Even as these things are cliche and typical (also not good), No one would actually do that these days (only rare cases). Even though, I can probably understand why many Asian dramas portray it, the gender roles of man and women in our country is really strictly laid out in the past, as I can always see that happen to a lot of situations in the people around me. You know, back in the days, where people in my country are more conservative and reserved. In the past, the women are generally regarded as soft-spoken, feminine, and fragile. Men are more headstrong, tough, and dominant. That is why the clash of these gender personalities are so interesting to watch. Such as scenes like this happens, they are quite entertaining, I mean when I see that scene, I can think that "Oh!! things are getting heated up!" and I get excited.
Am I the only one who really enjoyed this movie? I really like Emi's and Okura's chemistry since Otenki Onee-san. haahahah. I really like this movie, its a wish come true of romance for thiscouples....

I cant particularly say her mom was a bad person, she's a cunning witch though. She might still have a heart. But I haven't expected Beum Jo's mom to be an evil witch.
I'm hooked into this show, I'm not really a fan of PSH's acting roles before (but I definetely love her, she's really beautiful for me) but PSH's acting in this one is totally lovable and much different from the roles she played before. I only saw Lee Jon Suk playing a minor role in Secret Garden. I like him in there, he's flawlessly handsome. and I like him even more in Pinnochio, believe me when I say his hurt expressions crushed my heart. Like, his eyes! oh gosh...but yeah,I like his acting here even more and of course, he's flawlessly handsome as always. (I just find it a bit awkward watching him in the first few eps of pinnochio, because he has a gay role in Secret Garden xD. which I didn't get over with. But he healed me with his charms later on. lol) Him and PSH have great chemistry, rooting for the OTP of course c: Neeways, Pinnochio is a drama that is quite refreshing, full of suspense and thrill that balances well with the comedy and romance. Nice pacing so far, I love how revelations just go here and there, and makes things in the storyline complicated. I also love the characters, they are one of a kind, totally unique and not way too over the top! Lastly but not the least, i like the overall theme of this drama, it has a different feel than the usual tear-jerking-love-feels drama out there. Looking forward to this and is hopeful for a good and satisfying ending.
The last part totally nailed it!~ and I can relate to that experience as well, and it was in the heirs too! but yeah, there are way too many scenes like that also annoys me.
I actually cried a liter of tears in each episode in this drama. Mostly because I can probably understand the pains the girl has undergone through the series, I might have undergone what she has undergone but its not too cruel. She proved that my values and viewpoints that I held through my life has been true.
I would really recommend this series to everyone, it is a very inspiring series that is actually based on a real life story. You might even change your viewpoint in life after watching this. This show truly marks itself as one of the top rated shows in MDL.

I think it is because Song Jae Rim is really popular and hot with his WGM couple, and that him being with another girl in a drama would contradict this. Maybe that's why this show received low ratings. haha
