I chanced upon a mini drama of his on YouTube. At some angles he reminded me of Neo Hou. I hope to see more dramas with Duan in it, and in a main role. He is handsome and tall — apparently requirements in order to make it to the A list in C dramas. Improvement in acting skills and this guy will make it big, IMO.

not much of a romance. only one couple and not many scenes of them together. take note that this is not the usual lovey dovey type of C drama. it is very very different, and very very good

I’m at ep2 now. so far I find it enjoyable. brainless comedy type. worth a watch if you need some laffs

I think the actress was trying too hard to be funny but it ended up a total failure. I too cannot tolerate the FL’s antics, but managed to complete the drama because of the handsome ML. 🙃

Haha yes, I’m here for the ML. He is also in Young Blood 2, though just a support role.

This series has the cleanest and most goodlooking pirates I’ve ever seen and the most annoying FL ever! Her voice alone is enough to turn any man in real life off, I’m sure. she doesn’t speak; she screams and screeches.
