I can relate to you 💯. An all fudanshi friend group sounds awesome! Thing is, I don’t know of even a single fellow fudanshi around me, let alone a friend group! That is why I’m glad Serizawa kind of swept up Suzuki into his goofy, awesome friend group. 😁
That friend Dai at least only asked (well, not ‘asked’, more like ‘said’) if he could get him off. Harutora’s reaction creeped me out. Non-consensual is assault. Period. I dunno… this drama makes me uncomfortable.
I will wait for the future episodes to see if the ‘casual’ homophobia and making assumptions part is treated well. If it is, this drama will be well worth the watch. Here’s hoping they treat this subject well and don’t mess it up! 🤞
Just catching up on Wu. Gotta say, this is exactly my kind of series. 😍Supernatural, action, a good bromance, and a rag-tag team of ‘save the day ‘ kind of people. I am just gobbling this up! Love the drum beats and background music as well.
Hmmm, interesting episode…. Why do I get the feeling that Ryo actually likes Sota, but Sota doesn’t really like her like that (but is too much of a ‘nice guy’ to refuse when she asked). And she clocked that. But when Ryo realized that Natsuki liked Sota, she decided to step back. Because she does love her brother dearly. Even though she mentioned to Natsuki that Sota was not her boyfriend but just a friend, there seemed to be something off about it.
The phone conversation with her friend was kind of interesting too.
Or maybe I’m completely off here with my theory. Altogether, this episode (6) was one where everyone seemed to be unsettled due to various reasons. Messy human emotions detected.

I actually understand Mayama quite a bit. As someone who has a low self esteem myself, I can empathise with Mayama. It is not him being dense. It is just that his natural state of self worth is very low. Someone confessing to me back in the day would have probably made me think it was a prank as well. What’s charming about Asamiya is that he doesn’t beat around the bush. He likes Mayama and is not afraid to be bold about it.
