Oh I forgot to add. Also love the SML acting. You can really feel the emotions and pains he carries from loosing his sister. Love him. I want to become a fan of him too. I don't think I have seen any of his drama's

So I said I was going to give a full review after I finished watching ep 1-5 yesterday but I forgot . Now ep 6-8 came out today and I watched ep 6, not done with ep 7 but I said lemme give my review before I forget. Before I start wtf????? Why did the ratings crash, it was like 8.5 or something like that (I can't remember) yesterday. Haters are at work again I see. I'll create as many mdl accounts as I have to because it is obvious that they have nothing to do.


I rate this a solid 10/10. I love it, the storyline, the CGI (ugh I'm obsessed). Tip though if u want to watch this drama I recommend a high resolution to fully get a feel of it. It makes watching it a 100 times better. HMH ate hands down (as usual) and I'm so excited to see Tan Songyun in a fantasy drama. She delivered, acting was on point. It's a bit hard to believe she's in her 30's honestly. She has this baby face that doesn't seem to fade. I love her.



Love all the characters so far. I raised my brows at the cats styling but I decided to ignore it, love how he has a different eye colour. The storyline, love it. It might seem like a normal wuxia but I'm excited to see what it will have in store for us. And when the character A Lin (played by Chen Xinhai) came in ep 6/7. I almost thought it was Zhou Keyu (as they look identical), I legit paused and contemplated for a full 5 mins if it was Chen Xinhai or Zhou Keyu. Cause even the facial structure I use to differenciate them didn't seem to work. I had to look it up and discovered it was Chen Xinhai not Zhou Keyu (sidenote, please support Chen Xinhai upcoming drama romance next door, so excited for that, can't wait).




So yeah this is getting long now. But I'll conclude with this. HMH as much as I am eating up and enjoying all ur historical dramas I really hope u can play a role in a modern drama soon. I have faith that u will slay it.

I didn't really like the fl in that drama

It was around 2020. Ding Yuxi had two dramas airing the same time (romance of tiger and rose, and intense love). And you know how cdramas marketing works, the actors/actresses are suppose to bring the character to life through variety shows etc. so fans of the two dramas started fighting over stupid reasons honestly, one side will insult the fl in one drama, and they will insult the fl in the other drama. And I think fans got even more triggered when he set the dramas posters side by side and put it as his weibo profile picture. It was a mess that year honestly. People even started transferring the aggression to him which was unfair because it is not really his fault.

nooo. i am not sure u understand what i am trying to say. ofc i know they are suppose to act a certain way as all of them are still suspects. i am not talking about guilt or remorse or things like that. i am saying that they way they are acting, their body language and expression are not correlating with the emotion befitting. ok for example in ep 2 when tar was being asked questions by the killer, the moment he got hit, his expression wasn't really making sense. if i didn't know the context i thought it would have been a bdsm type shii. his teeth was out more times than i could count, it looked like he was laughing honestly. the only people i am seeing acting from is joong and dunk, the doctor, the brother, and maybe the rich boy. the rest i will advice to take more acting lessons

About to start watching it now. Will write a full review and give my ratings after I am done. But I am a bit worried for HMH, he has two back to back dramas airing in the same period. Hope he will not be too stressed about promoting the two dramas and I pray it will not turn into the same situation like Ding Yuxi.

likeeee, those friends cannot act for shit sorry to say. i just raised my eyebrows in the first ep when the female friend was shaking the dead friend and telling her not to die, like what the heck was that.???. it felt bland, no urgency

ok so I am ep 9 now and it gets better. i love it, decided to keep watching. and yes i will continue to skip the sml scenes...

I have been busy so I didnt watch this on the premier date, just started watching this now. And sorry to say i am pissed, first of all, why am I seeing the sml more than the ml??, it's annoying. Secondly, honestly the story seems a bit slow paced. Thirdly the sml is pissing me off, I skipped a lot of his scenes, he seems heartless on top of annoying. Fourthly, what is her friends problem, if someone did that to me I'll cut you off asap. I am in ep 4 and I am watching it as I am typing this comment. Does it get better ? Cause I'm thinking of dropping it. And anyways, merry Christmas, it's still Christmas as I'm writing this so compliments of the season

oh yeah, before I forget, I was soo blown away by Pond's English, the accent, everything was Chef's kiss, didn't even know he could speak English so well lol

ok, so I watched ep 1 yesterday, was too tired to write my review but I am able to now. First of all, the music, so dramatic and over the top, had my eyebrows raised but all the same I loved it since it's kinda part of the plot. I don't know, when I was watching I was mostly looking at Pond's lips (don't ask why, even me I don't know lol,) it kinda looked like he was going to burst out laughing, don't even know why I thought that, but excuse me??, his eyes were intense, like he truly meant business, had me shivering. And also, I think they had Pond put on eye contacts for this role, his eyes seemed blackish bluish grey in my opinion, I liked that, added to the intimidating look. Phuwin's acting, love love loved it. And might I add the lethal face cards they packed for this series. Like when I first saw the trailer a few months ago, est's aura blew me away, he was actually the reason I decided to watch in the first place, the glasses, the bodyguard look excuse me??????, he had no business delivering that lethal face card but he served anyways. The second leads toxic behavior, yeah I am also keeping my eye out for that too. Honestly, I was a bit skeptical to watch at first because it's GMMTV but even I was surprised, they exceeded my expectations, hope they don't butcher it at the end. So yeah all in all it was a good watch, I was actually dozing towards the end, not because it was boring, no way, I just had too many classes, mondays are always stressful, but I managed to finish it. Will definitely tune in for more...

I felt that the effort were just neutral... Maybe I couldn't see it
