Personally, I like Ruyi way more than Yanxi. I think Ruyi is more refined and the characters reflect the time period. The plot might not move as fast as Yanxi, but it is well developed and interesting.

I prefer to think that she has feeling for YWY the whole time. I don't want my baby to be second or after thought lol. It is true the show is not entirely clear. Not sure if they did it on purpose or terrible writing/direction.

So was she ever in love with Yun Xun? Or was she subconsciously in love with yu wen tie the whole time?

I haven't finished the drama but i impatiently looked up the ending lol. Because 50 something in I still don't know who she likes. I really like the chemistry between the two leads. Not sure I will watch part 2 if different people were in it. In the end, it seems like she realized she's love Yu Wen Yue? I just wished the drama spent more time on how she feels (romance) about these two men. We know these two men loves her but hard to tell how she really feel about them

I finished this drama (forcibly due to good reviews ) and I find it boring and repetitive.
