overall solid watch, could've def been better, but I recommend!

costumes were so pretty oooo but they did my least fav choppy slomo directing method :/
STORY (9/10)
they dragged out SYS's memory loss arc wayyy to long. also personally I would've loved to see more devil SYS cuz he was so handsome heheheh. SY felt a little sidelined and irrelevant after a while, so I would've loved some more involvement. I loved SYS tho, he's so angsty, coughing up blood every episode lmaooo. He rlly needed a heart transplant... SYS treated XRR so badly tho like bro just express your feelings ffs... usually I don't like cutsy FL but I couldn't help but root for XRR cuz she was believable--strong yet weak. the ending tied everything together pretty well!
ACTING (8/10)
not outstanding but was pretty decent. Chen Xinhai's acting was better than I thought, he def pulled off the gravitas of the character! Deng Wei overall was just mid, not outstanding but he def had some standout moments. Julia Xiang, considering her age, was pretty good tho! she pulled off MQG and XRR and made them both feel believable.
VISUAL FX (9/10)
CGI was better than Moonlight Mystique, but a little worse than Fangs of Fortune. still, probs one of the best CGI I've seen in a cdrama imo
