Pupster

AHHH!!! This has definitely become one of my comfort dramas. Although there isn't really a coherent plot (this drama is basically a slice of life of the couple figuring out their married life), the overflowing fluff is sooooo sweet, and the chemistry is on fire. The skinship was super natural and cute. The acting of the leads also was really good and natural; Matsui Airi very much played into her cutesy charm in a way that wasn't obnoxious, and Itagaki Mizuki' found the perfect balance between his character's mischievousness and calmness.

A few cons:
- the drama's two leads felt fleshed out enough considering the short runtime, but the other characters felt very one-dimensional. + I feel like the writers didn't explore why the ML jumped to a shotgun wedding cuz although the reasoning is explained, it feels a bit too drastic.
- also, one thing that bothered me was that the kisses were surprisingly chaste. It wouldn't bother me if the drama was a chaste drama in general but they weren't afraid to have (those) steamy scenes (in literally every episode too LOL), so sometimes the small pecks felt out of place.

+ I didn't know of Itagaki Mizuki before he passed, but from this drama, I can tell he was an actor overflowing with potential. Rest in peace.
