I too am not usually the right audience for this kind of movies, not because I dislike them but because when I watch a movie I don't feel like suffering (life is already hard as it isπ), but with this one I enjoyed the pace and the silence, maybe because of the sport (which I had never heard of) as you said, so yeah... Glad you were able to enjoy it as well!
I really liked this show π€£ but sometimes the work things doesn't make sense π€ like why marketing team working…
The first time I saw LJW was in a couple of webdramas, and I haven't been keeping up with his projects but he left a lasting impression and I wondered about him from time to time... It was so nice to see him get his breakthrough, it was well deserved! Only recently I watched The Knight Flower, and I was impressed by both his and the FL's acting, as well as the story, so I recommend watching that!
No it's a problem of the site, I tried using the link but it didn't work... I found it on another site but I'm not sure if it still works, I can give you the link if you want
Hi I know I'm very late but I have finally watched the movie, I liked it, it runs at a slow pace and the acting is good, it relies more on the actors' expressions and breathing etc. rather than their lines... I think I have to rewatch the movie a second time to really form an opinion on its meaning, but overall it's a story about overcoming trauma and learning to accept oneself as one is, be confident in oneself and realizing one is enough, so basically finding one's center. I would recommend it, let me know what you think!
You guys know that feeling of euphoria that is difficult to control because it's like it's overflowing, right?…
Yes I'm enjoying it a looot, I'm glad because I come from a kdrama slump and I hadn't heard anything about this drama before watching, no trailer no promotions no nothing, so it came as a surprise and gladly it's a very welcome one π π π
I am currently on episode 7 because this drama gives me such a happy feeling that I feel I have to be careful with it so I'm consuming it in small doses... also I'm scared of the excruciating pain of waiting for new episodes every week.
For those of you who quit watching after the first 15 minutes: After at most 30 minutes of the first episode it…
I agree, I have learnt that most kdramas make their first episode a bit exaggerated in order to catch people's attention, and I try to resist at least two or three episodes to let the story properly take off and the real tone of the drama set in, and by doing so I was able to enjoy some gems that I would have otherwise missed out on. The same goes for this one
I didn't cry but I was stunned by how pretty this drama is, I don't know why but episode 4 made me realize how beautiful certain scenes are... They have a really gentle and dreamy feel to them, everything seems so delicate
So, this might be a really ignorant question, but I'm gonna ask away because it's been on my mind the whole week and it's even stronger a doubt after watching the last episode... Isn't it hard for Min Ju to fall in love? I mean, he has to keep reminding himself that other people's emotions are not his own, and let's say someone confesses their love to him, when he feels their emotions how can he be sure they are not his own? Or if he reciprocates, how can he be sure he really feels that way and that's not just the other person's feelings? I know this could be a stupid question or maybe there could be no answer, but I had to put it out there. Or maybe I'm overthinking this.
don't know if it's still working though
I would recommend it, let me know what you think!
