Wow i saw MDL ranking it went up from 33k to 8k. Hope it will be top 100 like L&R. I still cant get over L& R but ChengYi look super handsome in white hair in this drama, best image of him so far.
While waiting for Immortal Samara to air every day, I had to rewatch L&R. This is the 3rd time ive watched this drama (not mentioning how many times I rewatched ep 15 etc…). It is the best fantasy drama I have watched in many years. I Tried watching Ashes of Love but could not finish the drama (i think the drama is highly rated because the 2 main leads were already famous) but L& R what can i say, Interesting plot & great actors. And first time I’ve seen ML who suffers throughout the drama. I became a fan of Cheng Yi after this drama as well, he is a great actor who should deserve better! Im hoping Immortal Samara will bring him more success as the plot and casts here are amazing too!
This is the first time I write a review here. I dont know how I came across to watch this long drama in the beginning as Im not really into dramas with really long eps. I normallly watch a couple of eps and then skim through the end. I could not finish Eternal Love or Ashes of Love but Love & Redemption, I must admit I watched very episode without skipping and actually watched it twice in just period of 2 weeks. Came to know Cheng Yi and start watching his other new dramas. However L&R is by far the best drama i have watched. Everything is good in this drama- the acting is superb, all the music is good esp “lovers curse” song, the plot is interesting from ep 1-59. Most importantly is the love and suffering of ML for FL was unconditional, ML has to suffer 10 lifetimes for the FL before he has a happy ending. The name of the title is so matching for the story. And lastly I must say the full (cut) kissing scene/ chemistry where FL try to break the Lovers Curse for ML was the best i have seen so far!!
