Great news! I heard that Youku VIP will release ep 54-59 on 2/9/22 for purchase (early release) and the cast will also watch live with audience.
I no longer have to wait 3 years
However I didn’t expect to say Bye as yet!

just a thought on part 1.
I think part 1 should be 19 eps and part 2 should start from ep 20 when YY became TZ, in that way it makes more sense to watch and comment. Hate it when drama is continued but split into 2 parts with no actual open ending to part 1.
Also I think from ep 20-36 it was abit too draggy, some scene is irrelevant eg: the lamp girl scene should be cut from when she was sent to mortal land, the love between flower spirit and the prince guy was like 4 eps what the point?
Then from part 2 it becomes better and back to pace lol. I like the love story between demon lord and the bird fairy, that was meaningful
PS: no comment on acting, they all acted superb.

Yes I agree It all about XLH feeling. I’m just saying I feel bad for CH not getting the girl and that things may have change if wasn’t for his brother. It does not mean I don’t support DFQC, when he has his feelings back and he cried it was very touching and made me cry.

I love ZLH in both roles he acted so well, applaud . my fav actor in the drama (noffence to DW fans)

I saw the trailer so I know how it goes. I saw how much DF sacrifice for XLH too. But im just saying that in the beginning if CH was not tied by his duty and his brother, he would have been with XLH. He also erased her memory, if not maybe things would have been different.

I feel bad for CH in his position as lord he cannot love anyone but his wife to be and has to loose a chance to be with his true love and gives DF a chance. Then when he know XLH is meant to be his wife, she has love someone else, that why i wish him happiness. DF also deserve happiness but in the beginning he was too possessive (i know because of that spell thing but makes if feels wrong if she ends up with DF)

I just watched up to ep 24 but I prefer XLH with CH although I still like DF but I prefer XLH die and CH became god of heaven and DF remain moon lord but they are at peace. Sorry if no one is with me. Maybe the 2ML syndrome is too much in me!

YD and TZ finally have a real kiss lol in the last ep of part 1. looking for more to come

From ep 20-36 storyline was draggy but ep 37-38 was worth the drama though it was a bit rushed. The rating should increase for the last 2 eps.

Agree. The drama was not overly promoted or known by audience at the time of release because they were not famous actor/ actress compare to already known actors/ actresses like AOL or TMOPB. But once you watched it the drama is just as good if not even better than AOL or TMOPB. (Well at least in my opinion because I did watched both of the other 2 dramas before L&R but I skipped here and there, I could not complete it in full. But with L&R I watched 3 times lol)

I agree. The bts of ChengYi and BingYuan is different to others bts of ChengYi in the way he look and treats her. And same to the FL, looked like they were dating each other in real life at the time lol.
Or it could be just because they are so into the characters (the drama have a lot of intimate scenes) while acting it hard to get out straight away lol.

Anyone watching this right now while waiting for new eps of Immortal Samara? I just watched this 4 months ago and I’m watching this again today for the 3rd time since today is the drama’s 2nd year anniversary since its release date on 6/8/20. It’s my 1st fav ancient costume drama so far!

I have watched up to ep 15.. So far im loving it but the torture for both leads is just too much to start. there are so many villians too, worst than L&R.
However I like ChengYi in white hair, so far for me he look the best in this costume.

I have watched ALP after watching L&R. I like the love between FL ML in ALP & I agree the FL in ALP is much better in character than L&R.
i actually cried at some point in ALP especially towards the end of the drama.
I cannot stand the dumbness of the FL in L&R to the point I want to smack her lol.
However because I like Siu Feng personality so much so i rewatched the drama and prefer it over ALP

I saw trailer ep 15, YD went to the forgetting pool and YY takes the purnishment for falling inlove with YD, the heavenly emperor wiped away his memories and send him down to Earth.

I could not manage to finish watching The Untamed but I finished watching this drama lol
Though I probably would not watch it again.

I watched this because of the rating but sadly could not finish this. I watched the 20 eps instead.

Ep 48. She finally regains her memory of their previous 9 lives with male lead and realises he is the only one who loved her, she went looking for him and they got back together.

Well they got together in Ep 52 when the FL broke the ML lovers curse with her true love kiss.
However they still have to part for a little until the last Ep 59 when they finally marry.
