One of the best. I think since Bloody Monday 2 he got typecasted a lot as the crazy-young-genius-villian, but he has definitly shown he can play various different roles (e.g. Bakuman). Looking forward to all his projects and happy to see he finally gets the recognition he deserves
Well with an age gap of 27 years there will probably be no romance right?...
.....right?
.....
There is nothing wrong with that, assuming they filmed it after 30 december last year, so she is no longer a minor.
I will pass on this one, because watching two actors with a 27 year age gap pretend to be in love is cringeworthy to me. However, that doesn't mean others should feel the same. Whatever rocks your boat, I hope you enjoy this show :)
Well written and nice to see more articles about Jdrama's :). Thank you!
However, I don't really agree with Okada Junichi and Suzuki Ryohei being underrated, as they both are getting lead roles and winning awards. I think the great young male actors that don't have the typical idol-faces are the ones that have the most difficulty getting the appreciation they deserve. Only recently Japan seems to finally embrace the talent of Kamiki Ryunosuke, Suda Masaki and Kubota Masataka , but they had to play so many side characters before they started to receive main roles, whereas an idol like Yamada Ryosuke doesn't need any acting talent in order to get a leading part....
Himura and Alice has great chemisty but i feel like drama hasnt displayed its full potential yet... Edit:Also, please…
agree, I thought the case of the second episode was pretty good, but putting this show on hold. There is a lot of buildin-up side stories (the weird cult/ strange schoolgirl) that probably won't pay off until the final episodes.
