I'm going to ask this very innocently, please forgive my (probably) stupid question but: is it safe to say this…
Ah thanks for the tip. I see they added the subs for the final 2 episode 2 days ago (9 months after the show started...). I highly recommend Algernon, it is really moving!

I have only experienced one drama that wasn't finished, (Flowers for Algernon, did it ever get subbed?). However, the chances that this drama will not be subbed until the end are slim, so I think you are safe (we are in the same boat :) )
Hi there! I like the idea of your article, but I find some sections hard to understand. For instance the grammar in the first three sentences of your 'Gender bend' paragraph are making it difficult to read :/
Although I had heard of the book, I didn't know the ending. I really liked this (both parts of it). Everything was great....except for the main detective. I get that he is supposed to be flamboyant, but it just made him silly, goofy and frankly just annoying. They should have casted an actor like Sakai Masato that can portray such characters convincingly. I would still recommend this show, because all the other characters were really well portrayed.
Why so much love for Ouroboros? Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad, but far from the best last year imo.... Do people really prefer it over Tenno no ryouriban / Date / Okitegami / Algernon ni hanataba wo / etc?
For those interested, they put in a small Legal High cameo with Koike Eiko talking about Miki sensei and Ide. It's funny because the actor who plays Ide in Legal High also plays the confessing student in this movie ^^
but WHY isn't FLOWERS FOR ALGERNON nominated??? Not even once?? It was an AMAZING drama
Probably because the subs were delayed (I mean are they even ever finished?), which is a shame because the ending was pretty good. But I think many people dropped it :(
